Everything has its level of addiction. People give up thier lives to get high on drugs... gaming can be a drug in its own way as well. Could be from a lack of self esteem, or like a fear of face to face communication. Hey it could be that some one just wanted to try it once and got hooked on something they usually avoid.

But i have to agree... losing family and your job for an addiction is obvious proof that you are screwing yourself over.

Yeah it start off that way for a while. It really is a good game. And there are lvls of addiction that you can notice from first time players.

Lvl 1-15 I want to get this kewl item when I get to top lvl.

15-60 I hate(opposing faction) and will get them for ganking me.

60 Gonna raid and get ubber gear to show these noobs whats up.

60-70 Going to outland to pwn all and get ubber epic gear and do arena till (opposing fation) hates my team.

70-1 Play a different class.

Grinding out lvls can get really boring yeah. I started on a normal pvp server the went to an rp-pvp server. I don't care what people say... I would rather play on a server where people talk to each other in the inn sometimes. Raiding guilds tend to get on my nerves. Yeah I just this great item... but alot of folk in the guild are there for only that. Why play online wuth real people if you don't even want to talk to them?

well, i was addicted to it but i deleted it for my own good, lost my job and my family but now im on the proper track again got everything back, i was playing since week 1 it came out, good game until you let it take over everything else keep that in mind. happy trails

Yeah... I couldn't get that into it though. I ended up like wasteing my in game cash in random stuff... Lvl 70 fire mage with a lvl 40 horse. Lol

Even so I didn't care that much. It was faster then walking (running even) Yeah its a good game lots of content great replay value with the different stories from both sides. But it can be a life stealer if you get to into it.
