I think it's great Shagrath does this as a side project. DImmu is really good, but this shows that he can do more than just black metal. I love knowing a musician can perform on many different genres of music. It shows their skill.

Yeah, has Dimmu Borgir released anything good since 1997? Perhaps the re-recording of "Stormblast", but the only thing improved on that were the drums and guitar. The keyboards sounded like carnival crap, but on the original were brilliant. This is far superior to most of Dimmu Borgir's material from the past eleven years, and actually more "black metal". More "black metal" because Chrome Division seem to eschew trends, where DB embraces them to try to be more commercially viable.
