They took the time and effort to build that power and now they use it as they wish. Revolutions are always destructive. They do not beat the system with a better one. They beat the system and use it's resources to build a hologram that looks like a bona fide construction, but lacks foundations (only ideology)

@arzoyan talking about reality does not make you an advocate for that. Knowing how something works is essential if you are immersed in that system. Slavery is real, and it exists under any regime. Every time a bank lends money not backed by treasure, somebody is paying way down the food chain. For every person living in a city there are many living in the fields, doing manual labor, underpaid, undereducated, people without whom we wouldn't have a civilization. We don't like to acknowledge that.

@flumoxed38 The richness is his discussions are in the Logos of his words, not necessarily the inflections of them. He's calm, collected. It's a good quality. If you take the polar opposite into comparison—you know, when people noisily exude their argument—Chomsky's equanimity seems much more preferable and much more conducive to rational discussion.

I think he's a step in the right direction.

I think it sounds exactly like him. Even if the voice was completely different, no one talks exactly like chomsky. You can tell its him by his mannerisms.

It is Chomsky and his voice, though the audio recording is distorted. I suspect the "tape" is not running at the correct speed, thus a slightly lowered voice character results that give an eery, un-Chomsky-like quality. Unfortunate though the audio quality is, the message is pure Chomsky.
