I agree with Heshy. He engaged in criminal behavior and should be punished as such. I see no relevance that he was frum to give him any sort of leniency. On the other hand, I see no basis for any unduly harsh treatment he received in his sentencing, but sentenced he should absolutely be. Plus, also, his behavior is an embarrassment to the entire frum community and greater Jewish community. And, no doubt, what he did is a tremendous hillul Hashem- shame on him!

@sspiegler -The issue is that the banks did not complain. I believe part of the problem was the illegal labor force there as well. Odd, as the government wants to give immunity to illegals now. No one is saying he should not be punished but 27 years is a very long time for this crime. He has also been held in solitary and denied religious articles that others should get. He was wrong. VERY WRONG but his sentence is outside the norm. He is not a hero but he is not Charles Mason either

@sspiegler Agreed - but having a yid in prison is not a good thing. He is unfortunately a criminal if all the allegations are true. And obviously we will never know the true story. We just have to bee mispallel that he doesn't end up in prison. But in critique of this video - what in the world does the song have to do with him?!

@sspiegler Until you read up on the case u shouldn't write comments. If you would have read up, you would have found out that so much was already framed on him and he was found not guilty of, and that the other charges were probably part of that and also false.

he was found not guilty on several bogus charges they tried sticking to him. but several other charges stuck which is why he is in prison. The real question is why was he sentenced to so many years? That is the unjust part of the story! murderers get half of what he got! and that to me is backwards!
