Roger lost his tail and a lot of his feathers and I was nursing him back to health. At first he lived in box inside until he was well enough to fend for himself, then he lived in the garden and was put away at night so he wasn't eaten by cats. Finally he regrew enough of his feathers to fly and then he slept in one of the trees in the garden.He stuck around for a year and two months before he decided to "move out" and make a home for himself!
