The feet can be targeted and weighed down by Pikmin, but if the pikmin are idle, they'll run up to the feet and attack it, presumably trying to get onto the feet. (bloody retards...)

If you've got enough on his legs, he can't lift them up. If you don't have enough, however, he'll only lift them lower to the gound, which is way more dangerous.

I played pikmin 2 before pikmin 1 and the yellows were inmune to electricity so when I fought this spider I thought he was a machine or something and I only used yellows against it.
