Like many other young people (by young people I mean those born 1960 and after), I grew up listening to this kind of music (and even older stuff, like the Hit Parade era) thanks to my parents, but I actually always loved it. I can remember enjoying this as young as age 2. It was kind of tough growing up though to find this kind of stuff in a music store, but it's a good thing that YouTube came around a few years ago so that all I need to do is type in a song title, and there it is.

Another great thing about YouTube is that I discovered oldies that I didn't know existed that were way ahead of their time, such as I Hear A New World by Joe Meek. The album is from 1959, but it's a unique kind of music that's both weird and enjoyable and sounds more like something from the 70s or even later.

Musta had some good drugs back then since some of the comments on that post implied that he was a speed freak, etc. Someone stated that he died tragically.
