youtube needs more videos like this, that ride was sweet and the guys who presented it gave the details without being boring, top marks for all 4 of these videos (:
@poortech1 They amount of power they deal. Im not sure if you have run a quarter mile at all but The tracks are not Grippy. they slide like mad and when you have that much power keepin goyur car straight and getting the gas on is the hardest problem. If all these guys had to do was hit the gas and it would stay straight theyd be runnin 8's

What a dumbass..we use cheap oil to break in the engine..yeah well done numbnuts...I can't believe this is coming from an engine builder that makes 1000 hp 2jz.
@barthoedemaker Yeah, that's right. For 1000cc Superbikes you do the same, you drive them with max half throttle for 1000km and afterwards you have to change the oil. And so you can break in the engine perfectly, with cheap oil he means, that in cheap/standard oils are litte particles that drag of litte overplusses.
@ThePflega dude modern engines internal parts don't need braking in. Only the piston rings, and the best way to do that is to warm it up easily, and then slam it hard.
@barthoedemaker ??? i must have hit reply on the wrong person i cant even find the comment that was directed at now :( for the record i use shit supermarket oil on run in as well, it meets the lubrication requirements and specifications so for run in its more then enough.
@madninja007 yeah having my own company, rebuilding engines for years and years, i'm sure I don't know what I am talking about... dude your an idiot. Using cheap oil for break in is a fairy tail. Break in isn't even needed in modern engines anymore.
@barthoedemaker you obviously have no knowledge of breakin in engines from 1000 hp to 100 hp its all the same cheap oil to break in for 1000 miles to 1250 miles then swap her out for the good shit
@83supraptype From Mobil1 oil: One of the myths surrounding synthetic oils is that new engines require a break-in period with conventional oil. The fact is, current engine manufacturing technology does not require this break-in period anymore.
@rotor13 I have a company building both custom engines, and rebuilding mass produced engines for bikes, never ever used cheap oil for break in, and never had any problem with it, engines from customers are all running great. Your turn.
@barthoedemaker yup, and they have built MANY 2000+hp engines the same way. their livelihood is cars, their entire education and professional career can easily be accessed. they spent their entire lives building engines and cars.
Why do people automatically assume that Supras don't handle well? According to wikipedia, a stock supra pulls .98 g on the skidpad. I imagine that for these guys to make 1 g all they would have to do is lighten it up a bit or use some decent tires.
@porscheturboo Is was made for them by Advanced Thermal Products, Inc. 17365 Diamler St. Irvine, CA 92614 (800) 826-8417 AKS for SHERYL THOMPSON
She is cool & for small turbos they are about $275.00 but being GT42 get ready to spend $300-$400 just for a shield but that said it's worth every penny. Looks awesome, custom fit for your application not a universal deal. I tried everything from coatings to shields to keep my turbo from melting my engine bay & ATP stuff is the only one that worked.
These guys are Supra gurus.. that was a nice car.

@barthoedemaker shows how much u know about cars. almost every car engine thats rebuilt, you use cheap oil or just regular oil to break it in

@barthoedemaker What do you use to break in an engine? If you know so much?
fivestringkilla 8 months ago
@barthoedemaker usual when you buy a car brand new it has in cheap oil and they say not too change because it needs to be broken in

@barthoedemaker you're also talking about MASS produced engines.... not custom built engines.
but then, you also listen to the instructions of your engine builder and tuner
