The movie is a lot more philosophical and deep in terms of character.

The show however shows a lot more of the world of GITS. The biggest thing the show seems to focus on are politics and conspiracy.

Just finished watching SAC: 2nd Gig, I watched...SAC a year back or so I believe.

I gotta say, 2nd Gig was great, but didn't have as much impact on me as the first one did. The Laughing Man case was certainly a thrill.
