Rvr2..fortunately, i don't think this should have any major effect on Aurrera, just because of it's prime location, being next to "el mercado", and on the street for major passageway for buses from different town and cities. Will check it out next time I go, just wonder if i will still need my u.s. membership or not.
@ELISMILEY1127 You are probably right. Business may have slowed but They have no plans to close down and there's no talk of it either.. I know the U.S. Sam's Club membership works in Iguala!
@rvr2 Auerrera, Bodega, Sam's Club are all divisions of Walmart...they are not in competition with one another. When Walmart entered Mexico over a decade ago they bought Mexico's largest supernarket chain - grupo Cifra (Aurrera). That's how Walmart became the largest player in Mexico so quickly.
I used to live in Iguala long ago, while you were driving I spot 24 de febrero , If I'm not mistaken did you drive by colonia vicente guerrero? If you did I used to live in that colonia and in the privada de melchor ocampo. I'm glad to see videos of Iguala it brings me good memories :-)
Man, when are they gonna fix the road...

@PaisaZoy Guerrero is one of the poorest states in Mexico...they're roads have always been pretty bad.

@uzarate well then the federal government should step up and give Guerrero better roads.
