yes i have been past the s.s united states on my way to new york. its a beuatiful ship and its sad that its deteriorating but atleast its still with us. I love studying classic ocean liners from the golden age. grea vid!!!
Yes, her near bigger sister the SS United States, both ships were designed by the same man. There is an effort to save the SS United States for either a museum or return her to service.
Last time I drove by her berth she is in the water not a dry dock has she been moved? And I don't mean I drove by on the interstate, I picked up a load from a warehouse one berth over.

yeah, from what I've read things aren't looking up for her that much either, but atleast she is in dry dock and not deteriorating to horribly.
