  • yes i have been past the s.s united states on my way to new york. its a beuatiful ship and its sad that its deteriorating but atleast its still with us. I love studying classic ocean liners from the golden age. grea vid!!!

  • Yes, her near bigger sister the SS United States, both ships were designed by the same man. There is an effort to save the SS United States for either a museum or return her to service.

  • yeah, from what I've read things aren't looking up for her that much either, but atleast she is in dry dock and not deteriorating to horribly.

  • Last time I drove by her berth she is in the water not a dry dock has she been moved? And I don't mean I drove by on the interstate, I picked up a load from a warehouse one berth over.
