  • There is so much emotion in this song. It's great to hear it again after so many years.

    RIP Tim and Jeff

  • ughhhhh, love!

  • Beautiful song, I can't help but get a little teary cause i know this is about Jeff and that is very sad. but Still beautiful none the less.

  • hey

    hey guys

    what if

    guys, listen

like, what if james franco played tim buckley in a movie. the ending is awesome, yah know?

  • @gsboss DUUUUUDE!!! Hahahahahah flawless!

  • ll

  • Listen to that guitar! if thats tim BRAV THE FUCK O

  • ive said it before about the great Tim and ill say it again, simply amazing.

  • him and his son, but many other folk-alt mainly musicians...NEED RECONigtionn or w.e.!!! just plain godly ;D

  • Hippies? That was a dumb label and Tim did not call himself that. He was a genius poet that was too vulnerable for this shit world.

  • @darkgarden22 "Hippie" was a creation of the media. If we referred to ourselves at all it was as "freaks"

  • both he and his son left this world. so tragic

  • Tim was a legend among us "hippies"; it's a shame he burnt out so badly and so soon. His songs would make you high without any drugs at all -- and they still do.

  • One of those songs where the lyrics are as telling as the melody... better voice than dylan, as good, if not a better writer than him as well.

  • @imagoodworkguy Better voice than Dylan? lol Dylan had a sound not a voice. Timmy had perfect pitch and was a musical genius the world never knew and to this date has not seen since!

  • Indeed, what a voice. His son, Jeff Buckley, does an amazing job singing this song as well.

  • I get ghoosebumps everytime I hear this.

  • fantastic song!! yet no one seems to try to 'cover' it, seems like the only one who could do it justice is, surprise, surprise!!!!! his son Jeff,

  • It makes me sad to think that this song is basically about gettin' rid of his wife and kids, especially when that kid is Jeff. Great song none the less.

  • @sundaymorningsleepr

*kid ...and before someone grumbles about what I've said, I'm just going by various things I've read.

  • such a fabulously horny creature

  • Learned to play this on 12 string back when it first came out. Haven't heard it in 40 years. Still a great song. Tim Buckley was an artist with incredible talent.

  • oh Jägerlein mein Tierchen

  • gotta play this again -- over and over - never tire of it ...

    awesome.

  • @TheJcfclark However, we tire of you saying that you never tire of this song.

  • gotta play this again -- over and over - never tire of it ...

  • gotta play this again -- over and over

  • this song is awesommmmmeeeeeeeee

  • magic

  • unglaublich schön. folk kann so schön sein...

  • What a voice.

  • Guitar here is so...so "jeff" ;)

  • fucking blindingwhat more can i say

  • Amazing song, seems Tim Buckley is still not getting the exposure he deserves

  • @rainynightman You gotta remember alot of people are not so simple minded, they follow the music just like the crowds do, you actually have to "search" for tim buckley and jeff buckley music nowadays, but the reward is MUCH better then turning on a radio and hearing the 13th lady gaga song of the day

  • @rainynightman that is so right

  • @rainynightman and he never will. But this song made Jeff Buckley start singing.

  • @rainynightman i think it is better that way...i just stumbled upon him..and couldnt believe it...love the man

  • I CAN'T BELIEVE I NEVER HEARD THIS BEFORE !!!

    and I've got 5 albums !!

    WONDERFUL SONG !!!

and I know just who to send it to !!!

    thanx SpaceOdysee0

    M U C H L Y !!!!!

  • Fabulous track from a gorgeous record.

  • Truely haunting

  • This part makes me chill> "Oh Flying Flying Fish Please flutter by my door: Yes you can drink my lies If first you read my eyes: Each one is titled 'I'm drowning back to you': I can't swim your waters And you can't walk my lands: I'm sailing all my sins And I'm climbing all my fears And soon now I'll fly"
  • This song is classic its so classic that i am using this song for a music course interview wish me luck
