Out of all comedy show's I've seen, Malcolm in the Middle is the best, it's just sad we won't know what Dewey and Jamie would be doing right now, how long Reese will stay at Craig's apartment, what future will lie ahead for Francis and Piama, will Hal and Lois have another boy or for once have a girl, and will Malcolm ever become president?

As much as I loved this show, even I knew that the series wouldn’t last forever. Thanks for making a great show, Linwood Boomer.

I feel tears coming to my eyes when I see this. I grew up watching Malcolm in the Middle. I had a lot of fun, did an insane amount of stupid shit. I remember watching the series finale the day it aired. I felt a little sad that this show was ending, but happy that it happened and went on for as long as it did, 151 episodes for a live-action series is something. Now I'm all grown up and in college. Watching this makes me remember those happy, bygone days and what was like to be a kid

Francis has the same kind of a job that Hal does and he loves it! He works in a cubicle surrounded by many others and inputs numbers into a computer all day. Hal was so thrilled for Francis. Francis asked Hal not to tell Lois about his job because it would make her too happy and he'd never live it down. Francis wants Lois to suffer as payback for all the suffering she caused him.

My mom said that Francis is a much better person than his parents(mostly Lois) give him credit for.

@Supereyes27 No, Malcolm is just working as a janitor to pay his tuition. His parents couldn't afford Harvard by themselves, so Malcolm has to work jobs around campus to pay it. At the beginning, Malcolm and his parents were discussing him working janitor shifts and shifts in the cafeteria in between classes.

@Evilgenius60 I haven't seen this episode in a few months, but I think he did get a scholarship. It wasn't a full scholarship or anything, though. His family still couldn't pay for his whole education. So he got a job at Harvard to pay for the rest of school. Still... happy ending! :D

great last episode but the first half of the final season was horrible becaue they were moved to fridays and they tried to have weird gimmicky episodes like helath insurance or burning. those first 10-12 episodes of season 7 were horrible because they were trying to stay on the air but it didnt end up working so instead of 22 episodes to end the show you got 11 good ones to end the show. and because they wanted dewey to have romance they stopped having him in the emotionally disturbed class with
