  • Were you able to install it? I'm planing to use same method but not sure what will happen if i pound this thing on 4 - 5 feet clay layer, will it go easily?

  • @aligzaidi It's tuff work... but they do go in... Sandy soil is best... 5 feet of clay...???

  • where does the dirt go as you pound the well point in the dirt?

do you need to add water ?

and does the small holes on the well point get bent as you pount it in the dirt

  • @3333ramirez It has a wire screen inside to keep the dirt out. You usually do not have to prime it with water to get it going. You just pound it in the ground like a steel fence post… I don't know if they get bent when you pound it in... you will never be able to pull it out to check. Thanks for watching

  • Water,the source for Life...Great job!

  • @rkansas1 Thanks

  • about 15 mins ago i was watching parkour vids... how did i get here

  • run the water through a biosand filter afterwards. Low tech no electricity.

  • @YiuTeub Yeah, that would work.. thanks for posting

  • Very cool.

    Very informative.

  • You can also set up a frostproof hydrant...only issue is matching the size to the galvanized pipe. I think most of their sizes are 1", so if you had 1 1/2" or 1 1/4" galvanized in the ground, you'd need a reducer.

They typically run around 50 bucks at Lowes/Home Depot. They go about 3 feet deep.

  • @mintydent Awsome thanks for the info.....

  • Great video thank you so much.

    Very good information.

  • thanks for sharing!!

  • Great info. I have three wells and it is a good feeling to not have to pile up water storage. Keep up the good work.
