The kids nowadays want to play Call of duty or something like that,i love games like fallout 1, arcanum or baldurs gate ,and i want to play this game now,i hear the story is based on a book is it true?

@Galvorn11 Yes, it's based on the book by Nik Perumov and Sergei Lukyanenko (the latter also wrote Night Watch cycle). I actually loved the book and bought the game because of it. There was also other book-related fantasy RPG related that year. Turns out, I picked up the better one, since this game is almost good.

The "boring" comments are why there will never be a Baldur's Gate 3; younger gamers don't have the attention span for it.

It's a dice rpg, And it is absolutly not boring, it's just not a action game

looks like it has lots of options to build the characters. Nice relaxing atmosphere, maybe a little too slow if you want some action (some voice acting would have been nice). It seems that it'd only please some old school rpg fans though.
