  • And THAT'S how Tommy Wiseau was born.

  • Oh fucking hard is it to find english subs for this?! I tried to look everywhere -.- Link me please if you find one!

  • 4:03 Obi-wan Kanobi?

  • I've seen all of the Puppet Master movies, but this has to be my favorite one of all, because it shows you how the puppets were created frpm Andre Toulan; Where their birth of their anscestors took place and how it all started with the puppets. Well, most of them, that is, except Leech Woman.

  • I did not hit her. It's not true. It's bullshit! I did not hit her. I did not!....Oh, hi Toulon.

  • @Leatherbubba - lol

  • OH HI MARK

  • 4:10 start of a MST3k moment "Those who steal from the gods must die." Insert MST3k comment "Now repeat what I said." Second guy "Those who steal from the gods must die."

  • Hmm... Well, I still perfer Blade's later appearance over the earlier one.. All in all, this movie is my favorite of all the Puppet Master movies since it has less horror in it.

  • toulon, ur gettin old champ.

  • those puppets are early versions of his puppets today

  • My parents got me the Dr. Death action-figure when this movie first came out. But it's leg was broken, thus having to return it. Never getting a new one, that really sucked.

  • Toulon is actually kinda cool, I wonder why he is such a prick in PM 2...

  • @s3bhorrormovies He was died for half a century plus his odession about his dead wife consumed his soul. In four and five, he seemed at peace with the puppets.

  • He's a cutie :D

  • 1:01 Hi BLADE :D!!!!!

  • @cyphrinfinity LOLS Blade'll cut that can mighty fast heheh.

  • I wanna watch the original and I have a feeling this isn't it

    This is good though

  • @TotalDramaIsland5500 Yeah this is one of those bloody prequels lol. The first one (if you haven't already found it lol) is Puppetmaster (1989). It is set first in1939 Nazi regime; then later it cuts to 1989. Rolfe doesn't play Toulon in this one, though. It does whet one's appetite for other Puppetmaster movies, though the time-lines in succeeding ones can be confusing since some are, as we have seen, prequels.

  • @cyphrinfinity Rolfe would have been around 88 in this one. wow! that old and still acting at the time! - whoo hoo! - that's diligence :D!!!

  • @cyphrinfinity I mean this one playing here.

  • @cyphrinfinity he's okay, but I prefer the original Toulon :) <3

  • @cyphrinfinity That's why I'm sticking with the first 3 movies, and when I'm positive they won't make another film for like the next 10 years, I'm going to buy all of them and watch them in chronologic order. That way, I can get the entire story in a straight line.

  • oh hai younger Mark

  • so is this the first 1 or 2nd one

  • @iiiiifamous1234 the 7th

  • @iiiiifamous1234 no it's a much later movie, but a prequel where Toulon is just starting out doing his puppet shows as a young man.

  • This doesnt make any sense. Toulon designed the puppets after specific people, most he met in nazi europe. for example Tunneler was a friend sent to workin the salt mines till he died. He would not have had the idea of the puppets design yet

  • LAS KIERO VER ,,TODAS PERO ,, NO LES ENTIENDO ,, APENAS EN ESPAÑOL,,

  • -drools- teenage toulon is sexy! l'd bang him...

  • oh, hai mark!

  • @GundamLeviathan That's a lie I never hit her!

  • I thought Tulon died in 1941 now he lives in 1944 thats contradictory. and can they screw up the time line any further. Oh wait axes of evil gos back to the past again. Tulon just wont stay dead.

  • @icewashu its a movie. who cares, its made for entertainment. lol

  • @icewashu yeah true, but of course he gets "reanimated" by the same fluid that reanimated the puppets LOL.

  • This tune has some similarities with The Ghost and The Darkness at the beginning.

  • suck BS!! in Puppet master III Toulon clearly states he learned his secrets in egypt "15 years ago on a trip with Ilsa" so if he was old as hell then, then why is he like 23 here? Fucking plot holes can ruine these things.

  • @JTheTeach From what I understand, Toulon knew two different methods of bringing inanimate objects to life. Chanting a magic spell like in PM1 and PM2 and the green fluid used in the rest of the series including PM2.

  • oh hi mark lol

  • 3:20

  • Retro Puppet master.. groovy <does discodance blade style>

  • what the cg

  • this is how it all started damn

  • I just wish they had used different puppets in this one. I mean why two versions of Blade, Pinhead, Sixshooter?! Not to mention a twin for Tunneler!? I never understood that! I mean they had the oriental puppet and Mephisto to use for this! I don't see what they had to make those copies!

  • @gojirajin they are copies because they were his first puppets he remade them

  • @HORRoRFrEak4EvEr1 Really?!?

  • @gojirajin yes

  • @HORRoRFrEak4EvEr1 How did you come about that info? I've never heard of that!

  • @gojirajin charles band told me

  • @HORRoRFrEak4EvEr1 And he is who now? Sorry but the name doesn't ring any bells with me!

  • @gojirajin uh dude he produced and directed the puppet master films chatted with him before

  • @HORRoRFrEak4EvEr1 Oh. . . *smacks self in head* I really haven't been on the ball lately. I can't believe I forgot that. *sigh* Guess that happens whe ya atch way too many vampire movies! And how'd you meet him? At a convention I'm assuming!

  • @gojirajin yes i met at a convention but i also won a contest to ask him 3 questions

  • @HORRoRFrEak4EvEr1 Oh cool!

  • little sneaky bastards..

i love those dolls. their loyal as heck.

  • @loveupskirts So do I. They're more loyal than some human beings. And they're so organized together when they battle an enemy: each one does his part, and when they want another member of their team to do his or her point, they'll nod or point, etc. at the other(s). So neat!!!!

  • @XPuppetMasterFanX *his or her PART* , not point lol.

  • why the hell dident they use the original music?? the puppet master theme is epic ! they realy dropped the ball with this one. its no wonder its taken them 11 years for a true sequel.

  • 7:11 "oh, hi mark!"

  • Damn, he killed those camel jockey terrorist.

  • this movie is a prequel?

  • Yes, this is how it all began.

  • funny how the older toulon has a british accent and younger one has a french accent.

  • hey travels alot

  • at least the special effects are used in this one,not with that crapy 6th one with the old movies scenes from 1 to 6.

  • @freaklore

at least 6 tried to be horror unlike 4/5, just geeky sci-fi puppet action

  • they don't have the original Puppet Master theme in this one....grrrr that makes me mad....so very....very....mad RAGGGHHHH 3DOLLARBRAIN SMASH!!!!!!!

  • what happend to the little jewish boy at the end of puppet master 3 he was on the train to switzerland with andre toulon at the end of the movie i was hoping andre toulon whould die and the boy whould become the puppet master

  • The boy, Peter Hertz, appears in Puppet Master : The Legacy as an old man.

  • Chezzy jedi like powers at 5:00 5/5

  • For every one going wtf about Toulon shooting himself in 1939 and he's alive 1944 It was most likely a film error I don't think the films were all plan in one day they didn't think about there past films while making this(well not the first one at least)

  • @Underdog3210 Part 3 was a reboot. Retro, 3-5 were somewhat cannon with eachother and ignored the events of parts 1 and 2.

6 was a desperate attempt at making money and had NO relevance to the other films.

7 was a TERRIBLE attempt at linking the films together. You CAN'T logically do that.

  • best movie ever!!!

  • I saw this back in 04 on Sci-Fi. Since I liked 3 (set in the third reich) and 4 (which saw the puppets fending off the forces of darkness) immensely - as these made the puppets into protagonists, thus adding much dimension to their nature. I was thrilled when I learnt that there was a prequel (especially when I hear that there was some metaphysics in the plot), so I was rarein to go... Man was I dissapointed!

The fx were AYAOTD, and young Toulon was acted-out attrocioussly! Insultingly bad!

  • AYAOTD? I think your usng the wrong word there I know what you mean though

  • the only thing i dont get is "what happens to dr.death if cyclops is thier"

  • Blade was supposed to have been designed after the Nazi Kraus. Yet he's in this movie, almost forty years before WWII...oh well.

  • no no, this is taken 3 years after that, but then he started to talk about the past. whitch took place 40 years ago.

  • Yeah, but I was referring to the fact that Blade, in this movie, existed prior to WWII, which doesn't gel with his genesis in Toulon's Revenge.

  • Ah, but the one in toulon's revenges and the this one are two compleatly differn't. Like pinhead, he was a truck driver, and the jester, he was a libarian. there's two compleatly differn't sets of the puppets that has differnt souls in them.

  • yeah and so is pinhead who was supposed to be a jewish truck driver killed by the nazis

  • I think the Retro puppets were somehow destroyed in between movies and the current ones were remade with other people souls...

  • The puppets sound all wrong in the beginning.

  • hellspit first of all this movie doesnt kill braincells Twilight does several thousand of them and if you dont like it dont watch it but since your a Twilight fan you wouldnt understand and ScissorSlinger as I said to hellspit you dont like it do something else

  • Just as an add on to allenpoe's comment....Any movie where vampires twinkle like mother f*ing pixie dust WILL KILL BRAINCELLS!!!!

See the puppetmaster movies are actually classics so if ya dont like em then go watch ur twinkley vamps and leave us real genre fans the heck alone :)

  • power of sue teck looks more like a full boddy musog fore the old fart

  • @Anonymous1075 i agree 100%,these are classics.i love all of them.

  • @Anonymous1075

True, I notice that even films like these tend to have more value than today.

  • Puppet:EVERYWHERE IS HELL, for we are the daaaaaaMNED..

  • which 1 is the 1 were the puppets fight the nazies

  • its the 3rd one

  • Also, really digging the scifi channel effects. ;)

  • i just looove this movies ^_^

  • retro puppet master was something that would be on nickalodeon or abc famaily.. it was that bad! lol at toulons accent horrible horible horrible. retro puppertmaster was worse then PM v DT

  • it wasnt tht bad xD i liked it

  • I thought this one was the worst of the series. Yes, we get to see Toulon's past, but there is like NO blood in this movie. I have to admit, for hardcore PM fans, this movie is pretty interesting, but we don't see the "bloody" killings like in the other PM movies.

Dr.Death is freakin cool! They should have used him in the other movies!

  • Big props for the Obi-wan Kenobi cameo at 3:32

  • i dont get it in the first film toulon shot him self during 1939 but this is 1944 i am so fucking confused

  • Wow. I forgot until you said that. That's a huge sore now.

  • I'm watching this series for the first time ever, from the first one on, and I've been wondering about that 1939 death for about 5 movies now!!!

  • alternate timeline?

  • the puppet in this movie are not the one in other movies this puppet where the fist after the fist dead the puppet master made the other ones

  • This movie's plot was WAAAAAAAAAY better than it's prequel's.

  • la mejor de la saga seee

  • wow its like the old puppets are the new puppets cousins

  • Yay!! Good old Toulon is back! I missed him!!

    eck, mummies!!!!!

O.O.... ma-ma-ma-ma-ma...... OoO.... <3 MAMA MIA!!! Young Toulon was sure haaaaawt!!!!! *nosebleeds*

I swear, this is like one of my favorite ones for the Puppet Master saga. I like Retro because it tells us the story of how Toulon began as a puppet master. Plus, we get to see the old versions of the puppets!

But I'll miss Blade's white face and black trench coat and hat, he's just so cute.

  • You guys are like one of my favorite horror movie francises ever.

  • is this movie part 8?

  • damnn young toulon was a babe lolzz

  • very sexy !@

  • It said on the DVD box that there was an extra 40+ trailer reel of Full Moon titles.

Is it hidden or was it just a bogus ad?

I can't find it, does anyone know?

  • oh nozzz, mummies!!!

wait...is blade and ester and the others going to be in this one or just the old/new ones from 1902???

cause i love blade and jester and i would miss them =^_^=

  • My favorite in the series

  • wow old version of the puppets....... coool

  • I love the intro song... though I wouldn't think of it as puppet music, it sounds much like an old sinbad film...

  • Purpleroni, you are like a scratched record.

  • some ppl's lives are so sad, this is the only thing they have going for them... they need a telethon for ppl like that
