My only problem with the game is that you fall down too much, like you get knocked down soo much it doesn't feel quite as epic as it could be. That and same goes when riding horses, you get knocked off after 1 hit. This isn't really a complaint but could it have also killed the makers of this game to add in the ability to ride eagles or those dragons?

@Cowpath3: That feature was in there for a long time but it ended up getting cut when the level scope was reduced. The levels would have had to been way for large for foot solders for there to have been any meaningful space to move with a flying creature. We tried, tho :-/

The movie is a very good one indeed, but this game is very bad, i didint like it at all...there are older and better Lord of the Rings games then this rubbish ( anything else but a) game. For a '09 game this one suck big time, i just hope that the War in the North will be as good as they say, first mistake they make saying that the game is a rpg, as a rpg will suck big time also, but as action/adventure game it could be better then Tomb Raider...

the DS version was epic. i rly enjoyed it. i wish pandemic had done the DS battlefront so it wouldn't suck.

my main complaint though is that the console versions have a lot more stuff, but at least they are pretty faithful to the characters (whereas gandalf the white fights the balrog in the console versions, which doesn't happen)

Then Rise of Sauron was so easy(thats because your Evil, and evil invincible, not literally like you stil only have 6 lives) i did all levels without losing ONCE and it only took about an hour.
