well death metal is not the easiest thing to get into. I recommend taking it slowly maybe listen to some melodic death metal like some bands such as at the gates,lamb of god,arch enemy etc. Then maybe it will help you try to enjoy this band. But I am the same as you I tried to get into cannibal corpse at first and just couldn't but now there one of my most favorite metal bands.

@fartingdogsismything This is a subjective reason, anyone like this or not, the truth is when i listen C.C 1st time I was a child and i was trying to understand the melody ... but this makes me interesting about the style of playing, I just sit and reading the lyrics.. the truth was I found them realism & clever , all the packet is unique.

Their music makes me feel better many times, this is psycologic feeling but I need to hear something hardened and not stupid.
