Yes, Greg=great show. BTW, we too are still trying to figure out what this BloomBox House Concert is you speak of lol. Here's the quick evolution: luv for music turns into simple then advanced recordings, indie "radio" on the web, open mics, songwriter workshop forms, ANGRYlaughter band forms+hosts acts found via the web. Each's been unique+great. I got deemed "media guru" cuzza so many gig pix on tangtechphotoDotCOM+adding youtubes of highlights like this. So Heather/Erin want a slot?!?! :))
okay went by the website: so this is an actual house, someones home?...kind of becomes like a private music club...this sounds very interesting...I like details, so I have more questions..Same house everytime? Cover charge? or just tips donations, cd sales. Different hosts? who provides food? What has been your top number for turn out, just curious. Local artists?
Yep, real houses. 2 so far. Growing rotation=good idea. Y, very cool/interesting. Intimate. ~25-60 guests, artist not a speck on a distant stage. No covers so far. Tip basket+CDs. Artist-priced, $7, $20, whatev. Some like "recommended donation"+split/% for host to defray free food, drinks. So far tips from concert go to either artist or charity. Guests can bring dishes, wine/etc., take photos/vid or anything to make a memorable nite/concert. To date TN/WI/IN acts+ANGRYLaughter+talented friends.
The others have been fantastic but you would have really loved this one especially. I said that to some folks on the break...based what's on your ipod.
Great work! Love the pans, zooms. Keeps it going. And good job capturing the atmosphere of a house concert. And Greg - excellent song and performance. The whole thing was incredible!
Yes, it was a sweet performance. As for the pans and zooms, some I supplied and some were supplied by someone else--I won't mention names on the internet (LILL! :) [tripods on a stairs--that's why--so like this hoodie I've seen says: blame me! Weird thing on this vid, speaking of technical stuff, I obviously tweaked the color and had this dancing brown/black grain--that somehow vanished youtubing it.]
beautiful. He'll be in Holland soon. Might be a good idea to catch hem there.
