    your welcome.

  • In the movie he says $50 worth

  • 00:00 to 02:30 IS JUST... FLAWLESS.

  • @parthivpatel343 mmmm no it 25 it is 25 look at the album on amazon or iTunes it is 25 you stupid dykes

  • @abo133780 I agree with you about this being a beautiful soundtrack and Howard did awesome work with such an important scene. That said, this is the comment section where everyone with an opinion (however wrong) has the right to post it.

  • Great movie...even better composer. Beautiful music.

  • watch it in 480p ;)

  • It should be 50 dollars worth.. But the idea stays the same.. :)

  • @pretzelberg I find people like you tiresome. perhaps try telling your opinion to some who gives a shit?

  • good ูู

  • great tune.

  • it's a $50 worth, not $25

  • @GraysonDean1990 no its twenty five

  • @Sevmarick it's $50, I just checked.....

  • @Sevmarick 25. right.

  • @pretzelberg

Justin Bieber more your speed eh, pretzelberg?

  • You simply do not create such a score without talent. It's categorically impossible, not to mention the fact that he was sanctioned by the film maker to make such a score. Who else would you go to? Even the best of composer could not create such a deep, emotional and jarring score to best fit the film. To criticize and assume that better could be done is simplistic and judgmental at best. Who could have done better?

  • @pretzelberg "James Newton Howard is a nobody" !?! poor choice of words lol

  • Simply fantastic, clever and interesting movie of the 21st century. Who knew that such a silent ending could be so engaging, and partly because of the music.

  • @11strelokfan1000 That was the best part of the whole film in my opinion.

  • Maybe it's a stupid question but why the title is "25 dollars worth"?

  • @bakan1244 In the final scene of the movie George Clooney's character steps in to a cab, when the driver asks him where to Clooney says: ''Gimme 25 dollars worth, just drive''. This music is played during that scene and the endig credits.

  • @pmc20309 Thank you for reply however I watched this film many times and every time he get in to the cab I hear "Give me 50 dollar worth".

  • I think the version used in the film's ending is slightly slower than this one. I'd like to have that slower version. Perhaps it is just my perception, but there are less pauses between the piano chords on this post. Thanks, though; great music nevertheless....

  • @bt10ant I was wrong. Both versions use same tempo

  • this composition sounds very similar to Stephan Zacharias' in 'Downfall'

  • I want a Michael Clayton 2

  • The change at 2:44, the transition from the uplifting, victorious tone to what I can only describe as a sinister drop-off is step-for-step with Clooney in the final scene and couldn't have been executed better. You see his character's evil, the stuff that assuredly got him his "job," as his eyes sharpen. I've watched and rewatched those last 30 seconds, and it's so slight, but when the screen goes to black, you wonder if the protagonist even came out a winner. Phenomenal 'til the last second.

  • @travhawkes Wow, excellent observation and well said. Cheers to you, sir.

  • can you upload "horses'" soundtrack from Michael Clayton

  • @j4manasseh I just did

  • @abo133780 thankyou

  • 50 dollars worth

  • @j4manasseh yeah i know wtf?

  • His best songs are definietly

1 Proloque - Lady in the Water

2 Gravel Road - The VIllage

3 Flow Like Water - The Last Airbender

4 Beauty Killed the Beast part 5 - KIng Kong

5 Children Laugh - The Water Horse

  • its "give me $50 worth not 25.

  • this music is brilliant and James Newton Howard is a great score composer :) this is another fave composer of mine next to James Horner , Carter Burwell and Hans Zimmer. I am suprised this movie never garnered an Oscar for score also i think George Clooney gave the performance of his lifetime in this film . thanks for posting this piece of score from "Michael Clayton"

  • One person is a U-North employee.

  • I'm inlove with this song (:

  • quick question? why is this titled 25 dollars worth, when in the movie clooney says "give me $50 worth"? anyone catch that?

  • @hamiltonjsh You're right... that's weird. Maybe Clooney slipped or improvised with the script, and the director kept it, unaware that Howard had already taken his song's title straight from the script, and not the movie.

  • @hamiltonjsh

probably a script change after the music was written, apparently stuff like that happen all the time

  • @phate161 your right, plus they dont have 25$ bills in print. so clooney just happend to have a 50. lol

  • listening to this is great...but has anybody besides me noticed the vehicles change types after he enters the cab?

  • @abo133780 please upload all the track list of the movie

  • Thank you !

  • name of the movie ?

  • @ctcitidalamuie "Michael Clayton" worth seeing, but not a whole lot of action. Reminds us what big buisness can do when it isn't knocked down a peg or two..

  • @ctcitidalamuie Michael Clayton

  • Song is great until 3:27 on. Howard should have kept the same sound throughout. This song didn't need anything more than piano and strings.

  • Clooney looks hot though. :)

  • Clooney is a master of his craft...great final scene!!

  • @manskin17 That scene was great because of Tilda. I love Clooney, but Tilda was the genius that made that scene work. She was too real. There are lawyers out there that act just like that.

  • Clooney is a master of his craft...great final scene!!

  • not to describe.. no words for that

    00.00 - 03:13 [best are the first 70 seconds]

    <3 so emotional

    __

film < WORLDCLASS ! couldnt go sleep, so exciting !

  • such a sad look full of thoughts.

  • From 1:15 to 3:12 ... it's wonderful...

  • @Sebmagic2 Thats my favorite part also : )

  • Not many scenes make an entire film great. This is one of them.

  • Excellent & Brilliant ! Class Screen Play and Direction ! Tony Gilroy Hates Off !!

  • Brilliant film..great cast and score.

  • i could listen to the first 45 secs over and over again.

  • @alpha9mm Couldn't agree more

  • @alpha9mm me too:D

  • @alpha9mm me too :) im making a house music song out of those first 45 seconds. pm ur email addy sometime. it's not finished yet, but i'll release it for free sometime this year as part of my upcoming SDHC series

  • sumone needz to upload d entire ost .. \,,/

  • "Give me 50 dollars' worth.. just drive."

Kind of cheesy, I thought and still think. But there was a point to it....he really almost had nowhere to go. Career over. Broke. Nary a personal life.

But he won something back at the same time. The score connotes this perfectly, I think.

  • James Newton Howard is a great music composer

  • @TheSawman86

    ZIMMER is just as fantastic

  • @131untouchable i agree and especially liked his music in inception

  • @TheSawman86

    best for me was

tears of the sun - heart of darkness

  • @TheSawman86 I believe Hans Zimmer did the music in Inception?

  • Thank you for posting this!! It was impossible to find before!

  • Tony Gilroy is one of the most interesting filmmakers working today. Michael Clayton and Duplicity are so different in tone, but similar in complexity. I can't wait to see what he does next

  • Someone needs to get the entire soundtrack up!!!

  • your right, lol. I would love to know what happened to him after that.(in the movie)

  • Brilliant & haunting, my favorite piece from the soundtrack (the first 3 minutes especially so.) Curiously, though, Clooney says, "Give me 50 dollars' worth.. just drive." Thx for posting
