  • Two of my fave singers

  • Author G D Grace - I'm glad that this collaborative moment was captured in time and on recording. They are marvelous together. They really should have done a complete CD. This CD is amazing though. I wish I could have been there to experience it.

  • Love! Girl has got THEE PIPES! Yes, she should record much more!

  • fabulous...

    by brazil..

  • fabulous...

  • Love this song... and this live version it's so much better. Never imaging how Kenny Loggins look like because I always listen this song and love it. Until now I have the curiosity of search the video. He have such a great R&B voice...

  • Kenny should've made more stuff like this instead of footloose. He can blow.

  • Fav of mine :)

  • OK, now i must download & play this into the night.

  • Cognac smooth . . . . . . with a nice kick in the end . . . . . Thanks for posting this

  • What a great duet. Kenny knows good music and great singers. Shanice is the perfect singer to sing with just about anyone. Her range and diversity is incredible. And she is always conscious of blending with her singing partners, SHANICE IS A DREAM!

  • this was the jam

  • Is that joe locke playing vibes? He is truly an incredible musician and composer. I smile wide when I hear this song. Thanks

  • Is that the Brawny paper towel man singing? He needs to get out of the paper towel business and start a singing career.

  • Anyone who knows and loves music, especially vocal talent, must recognise loggins as a uniquely brilliant singer--I dare say his voice is one of the most remarkable instruments of its kind. And such a gift for phrasing, harmony, timbre, ect., This clip shows his abilities in clear, concise measurements--on a dime he lowers an octave, for no other reason than to add another harmonic dimension. It must be gratifying, for him, to know how blessed he's been--having been given such a gift.

  • I really liked the record version, but this live version is the One!

Their voices compliment each other so well together.

  • bravo. superb.

  • Hey Shanice, other than your Inner Child with album with Silent Prayer, you are YET to give us another beautiful, heart-warming, romantic duet. Please give us another one on your upcoming album.

  • Kenny Loggins put Shanice in the show specifically for the sax tones in her voice, he wanted the feminine element in the show. Its not a singing compitition. Good art is not created in the spirirt of compitition.

  • I love this version!!!!

  • "go flex!"

  • I have this CD...it's fab...but I looked forward to viewing this video....a shame that there appears to be 'drop out' at several points where the sound disappears. I have listened to it on several PCs and the same happens.....it maybe worth re-uploading it.

  • da video response above is without da audio pauses. da pauses here were like deliberately done for copyright purposes, imo.

  • I have the CD and DVD...there are no copyright reasons why there ought to be gaps at those points. The upload does not pause, the sound cuts out. If there are copyright reasons, why is the response on without gaps????

  • Well da response video has just been uploaded, so I don't know if da owner will make any claim in da future. Also these pauses are in all of her first batch of uploaded videos, 'Yesteray' Fly Away, National Anthem etc. So a good reason must be as 2why?

  • Hi! May I ask you what's the name of this CD??? But...is it a sort of "The best of Kenny Loggins"?

Is there Shanice(while she's singing with him) too???

  • Watch the video closely again, it's Kenny's show, but Shanice begins to take control at 2:15, by 3:22 during the sax solo the mood changes ,the musicans and the audience realize they are dealing with a pro and when the vocals resume Shanice is in control, it's her show, she dominates from that point forward, watch how the song changes, she is amazing and takes the song to the next level, world class, the audience is touched and the evening is complete, Shanice

  • You are right on point, but you forgot to mention how Shanice voice is so captivating that at 4:40 she brought Kenny to his knees. If you look closely you will see that that was sheer passion of the moment credited to the brilliance of one Miss Shanice! Kenny was obviously caught up in emotions.

  • beautiful collaboration

    holla

    scoopv

  • I have the "Live from Redwoods" concert CD (I think that's the title; the CD is buried somewhere around here.) On that CD, Kenny and Shanice perform "Love Will Follow" and it sounds just like this, the ad-libs and everything. So please let me -- and let us -- know whether this vid is from the "Live from Redwoods" concert. Thanks. ... Oh, those were interesting comments made about Maxwell or Robin Thicke remaking this song. I wonder : Which female singers would sound great dueting w/them?

  • Chante Moore would kill it or even (and I hate to say it)...Jessica Simpson, only if she would sing instead of whisper.

  • As much as I love Chante Moore, I have to say that not only would she blow this song right out the ballpark (and the Redwood Forest) but also her earth-shattering soprano would blow out the eardrums of any male vocalist who dares to duet with her on "Love Will Follow." Perhaps if Chante performed the song solo ... yeah. I mean, Shanice kind of overpowers Kenny on much of this song -- that does not make me dislike the duet. I love it! Oh, and LOL on what fmdpvt said re: Jessica Simpson! Ha-ha

  • Yes this is exactly what you have on cd. They performed another song called I would do anything, but that does not appear on the dvd set. Yes live outside the redwood.

  • he puts me in mind of remy shand..he had that one song called take a message like hella long ago.

  • veryy good

  • Flex's wife doesn't record enough.

  • so good!

  • this is heavenly

  • timberfake?

    robin dick?

    whats up yall...?????

    forgot about Jon b ?

i think no one should remake it...its perfect!

  • carl anderson's version is amazing too

  • amazing duet, loved it! incredible Shanice. I also love the song "heart to heart".

  • My favorite love song HANDS DOWN!! Kenny and Shanice are just two incredible talents!!OMG!! Just sooo smooooth!!!

  • omg the guy reminds me of Robin Thicke before he cut his hair off!!! Great performance. SOOOOO smooth!

  • Yep! Kenny Loggins is Shanice favorite Male singer, cause she said he can sing anything.

  • THIS IS AMAZING

  • I truly enjoy the collaborations between you and Kenny Loggins. Especially "I Would Do Anything." Please post a video of ur performance if u have it. Thanks. God bless you.

  • Wow i remember watching this as a 9 year old being mesmerized this song is still fresh to this day.

    That was funny.

  • This is a very pretty song. Their voices blend well!

  • One of my favorite songs!!!!!

  • I wonder why he never made a morer R&b sounding album..he sure has the voice of it ..and could easily pull it off

  • This is soooo soulful...I did some things on this song...Shanice can blow!!!

  • No matter which version of this song I hear, this or the version from the Vox Humana album, nobody can do this like Kenny Loggins. A very dreamy soundin' tune indeed!

  • no remakes by hacks please!

all the people brought up just SOUND LIKE kenny loggins

keep it with the originator...some things must be kept sacred...LOL

  • absolutely brilliant work by kenny and shanice.

    let maxwell remake this song

  • in my opinion, maxwell is the greatest singer out there at the moment, but noooooooooo don't let anyone remake this song.

  • Wow, I have the audio of this; but I never knew this was from a broadcasted video. Great find!

  • Their voices are absolutely gorgeous. Very well sung, if it wasn't for the video I wud think it this is a studio performance.

  • This is perfect...no remake needed!

  • Im With U Sweet! I Think Robin Thicke Would Tear This Song Up!

  • You read my mind; I was thinking the same thing. Love Kenny's version as well and Robin would tear this up!

  • I want Robin Thicke to remake this song. He is so perfect for this song!

  • no no no no no no no

  • This song has served me very well in the days of my youth.

  • THE GREATEST SONG EVER WRITTEN

  • Thanks this is one of my favorite songs.
