This is the route I would have taken, even though there are few doctors in each state that perform this procedure, the risks seem well worth it. However, I recently found out that you are not a candidate if your disc problems are in your lowest Lumbar. I need 2 discectomies, L5, S1, and the XLIF procedure can not go this low. My information comes from Dr. Rappoport in AZ and Dr.Gause also in AZ.
