Chronic Fatigue caused by Hepatitis C

I am a 50 yr. old woman. I was diagnosed with hepc 11 years ago. I have undergone no treatment. I have had 2 liver biopsys that came out well. Little to no liver damage. I don't seem to suffer from a lot of symptoms. I have to be careful of what I eat, because of stomach pain. I had my gallbladder removed a couple of years ago. I own my own business so I work 6-7 days a week. My problem is chronic fatigue. When I get a day off I sleep up to 17 hrs.. What can I take to help with this problem?

Tylenol has always been known to kill liver cells. It is just now that the other half is admitting to it.

Drugs and hepatitis c do not work together. They will understand that in another 10 years as they continue to kill us.

I am a hep C patient and they had me on all kinds of pills, norco, methadone, anti depressants, anti psychotic's and some other's, they damn near killed me, now it's coming out that acetominephen is dangerous and I was taking 10 norco pills per day with my dr's blessing, WTF! I've been struggling to make it back to health, Kaiser Permanente don't know crap about treating ppl with hep C.

If you have life threatening condition like tumor/absess on your liver where do you go? Where do the quacks go? Bet your not telling the guy with your life in his hands how he's part of some vast conspirousy. Main stream has serious problems and much corruption but it's the best we got and those who practice it generally have much more honerable intentions. What's different now is anyone can go to wikipedia and look it up and hopefully follow the logic away from these charlatans.

Ever wonder why your still sick even though the quacks promise you the world with their snake oil treatments? BECUASE THEY DON'T WORK IDIOT'S! Absolutlu! It's amazing how some people will throw hard earned money at Interferon treatments even though they know it will give them perminent brain damaged and ruin the quality of their lives even IF they do go undetected for a few months before raging back to their top viral load. People are wierd like that.

Yes and as you can see by my negative rating they don't like me railing on these wonderful quacks that care so much and understand so well what we are going through. I used to be a sucker too, no shame in it, not unless you never wise up. How's the saying go? Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice...

it sounds to me like you got burned by a Quark (atleast) once because you're not looking at the evidence very closely.

You also need to look at who that evidence is coming from and what their TRUE motives are. Do you know that Dr.s get paid tens of thousands dollars each time they prescribe Brain Damage.. I mean interferon.

Been burned, see them pray mercilessly on those that can't get help from MD's. one day became extremely apparent these people are not smart enough or just too lazy or both togo the conventional routes so they just take a shortcut becoming a charlatan. They find out what you want or need and allude that they can give you this, but they NEVER EVER DELIVER. People strangly swear by quack treatments because of all the hype surrounding them and placeebo effect. Than the treatment gets cult following.

so you are saying interferon doesn't work? Is that in all cases? I know a few people that have taken interferon and thier viral load is still pretty non existant. What is this brain damaged stuff you are talking about> I am getting ready for treatment in about 3 weeks so do tell...

I also took kutappression shots in '94 x 6 months, from porcine as well. i have cfs i have had the inter ribo combination treatment in 2005 it did not work you in the us seem to be more advanced in your knowledge of this virus here in england its not so good i feel like im in a deep dark tunnel the muscle and joint pain is unberable and i cant see or feel an end to this tunnel even with the medication im prescibed could you tell me the english name for treatment for candida which incidently i have not heard b4 in relation 2 hepc

Don't scare her needlessly. She might not have any side-effects, not everyone does and the treatment might clear her virus. Give her a chance!

Hey Kat thanks.. the meds she was taking gave her an infection the doctor called her and told her stop taking them immediately so she hasnt been taking anything as of right now we have to look at other alternatives
