  • Creeperrrrrrrrrsss!!! 👀

  • Haha "jvillian89" and btw those animals are tallented

  • Ehhhh.......

     stewpid

  • Holy shit! Showbiz Pizza!

  • this is trippy

  • I'm watching this at 5 am and I'm creeped out

  • Fuck you, TFM Intern.

  • this is the first video that i have ever seen of this band and i LOVED IT makes chuckEchees look like a pile of junk!!!

  • Why do all your videos have this 90s VHS look to them? It gives the whole experience an extra creepy blur. Like my funny uncle video taped this at my 10th birthday party before taking me to the bathroom to change my diaper. But Uncle Vick, I don't wear diapers!

  • This is so epic it should be illegal never have I been scared and enjoyed music all at the same bravo

  • That video is awesome!! Brings back so many good memories!

  • I remember see in this for the first time as a child and it was terrifying. I cried so hard that my dad had to carry me out.

  • What the hell is wrong with you people, those things are terrifying!

  • My childhood brought me here.

  • In the documentary he talks about looking at the characters after the curtain closed. I used to do that too! It was creepy...

  • @maddash24seven what documentary??

  • @ash3227 Documentary is the same name as the band. I watched it on Netflix.

  • @ash3227 The Rock-Afire Explosion, Instant Stream on Netflix.

  • is it normal that i'm scared?

  • OH mY!!! I forgot how freaky these things are, Couldn't help but to rock out with them though.

  • what is this? and how is this possible??? please telll meeeeee

  • @turkeysaw I'm assuming you were born after 1985, so you probably never saw the Rockafire Explosion. These characters used to perform Showbiz Pizza in the 80s. Then one day they disappeared when I was about 11 or 12 and Showbiz became a Chuckie Cheese! I dont know how they work cause I'm not an engineer or computer nerd...I just know theyre freakin awesome :).

  • @turkeysaw it is an animatronic band from ShowBiz Pizza that was reprogrammed to play modern songs.

  • this video scares me but the best song! used to love it when i was younger

  • @jemmalacey I just about questioned you on how you loved this when you were younger, since it's so recent.

Then I realized it was released almost four years ago...

    Damn, time flies.

  • How did they sync all the sound the video, its seamless!!! :O

  • I remember the Rock-A-Fire Explosion.

    The gorilla was my favorite.

I felt the opposite about Spectre Man.

    Those gorillas pissed me off.

  • I agree with David. Fuckin genius

  • This guy's a genius

  • Those "come alive bands" like this one, that I've saw at chuck e cheese are scary as hell. They would just LOOK at you with their eyes when playing and crazy lights flashing. Terrifying to a 6 year old!

Much better than the original video lol

  • w t f this is incredible video

  • Why is this in someones basement??

  • Glitter penis? So gay!

  • Bring back Showbiz and Billy Bob....Eff Chucky Cheese!!!

  • @janellmd -THANK YOU!!! I HATE Chuck E. Cheese.

  • In Denver, the pizza place this puppet group used to be at was 'Showbiz Pizza'. It was popular when I was a kid in the early to mid 80's. But like others have said, it was slowly replaced by Chuck E Cheese...

  • I don´t get it... someone could please explain me why the 90s puppets are singing this?

  • @thoughvoice

They used to have these puppets playing "name" songs at entertainment centers for children. Basically mimicing the beats and melody of the song being played. Purely for entertainment

  • This song rocks, and wasn't the bear in the actual music vid for this? :)

  • oooh The animatronics of ShowBiz Pizza i saw it years ago

  • This is the coolest thing I've seen in years. The bear is even in the official music video. I'm gonna order like 3 pizzas and down some mescaline and party like I'm a 4 year old again to this! Takes me right back.

  • @rubbernecker13 here i come mr. san pedro cactus

  • they remind me of the puppets for the country bears at disney world

    but i love it

  • @BSiX17 and if you watch just go with it -- adam sandler movie, when they are all at like a chuckie cheese place... the chuckie cheese cheerleader is in the background.

  • so much better than original video

  • cool :)

  • best ever

  • Better Music than Chuck E. Cheese.....

  • Hey these things were in the music video. Right on.

  • That bear.... is fucking creepy.

  • this is the creepiest thing ive ever seen in my life.

  • What is this...I don't even...does that wolf have a puppet?

  • Damn that Dog Guy can Sure Play Them Drums......

  • I think THIS should have been the official music video for this song!

  • so flipping cool~

  • These guys used to be at this place called "Chimpy's", which was loads better than Chuck E. Cheese. Good old childhood memories from watching this...

  • they should put this at the black light minnie gulf...heehe

  • I'm looking at the bear and I'm thinking 'duelling banjoes'...

  • @MatchstalkMan LOL!!!

  • HAHAHA!!!!! this is fucking hilarious!!, I remember being real scared of these things when I was really little

  • omg...I was wondering if anyone remembered this ***! awesome!!!

  • perfect.

  • haha i live by here that place is called scandia

  • I know that electric feel, bro.

  • @Lemileant We all know that electric feel.

  • O-O i dont know if i should find this adorable or creepy

  • How do these machines work?

  • @360deeman electronically controlled air valves if im right if you watch the rockafire movie on hulu they show it a little there and shows the history of this band

  • @360deeman

    electric feel makes them move

  • I hope I'm not the only here..but these guys gave me countless nightmares. I remember the bear freezing during a show with the eyes staring.. right at me.

  • This is freaking great!!!! Once I saw them in the actual video, I was like...'oh hell yes!' Thanks!

  • druged up video hahahaha

  • Is this at Scandia!?! Hahaha

  • @warriorsofnewyork No, at the factory that manufactured them decades ago!!!!! (Orlando, FL)

  • Chuck E Cheese On LSD.

  • Showbiz man.....had three b-day parties there as a kid......Awesome times, ski ball and whack-a-mole!!!! God I miss being a kid in the 80's!!!! Thanks for the killer flashback!!!!!!!

  • i fuckin miss the 80s :C those were good times lol

  • if The Rock Fire Explosion did a music video with Frank Oceans Nature Feels with Frank Ocean freaking with a female and the animatronics looking through the bushes, it would be amazing. tell me i'm wrong. because i'm not.

  • @SkateboardCaes frank ocean is vicious...this is vicious u hit it right on the spot

  • they appeared on their music video

  • The fun station that i used to go to for camp had all of these guys but not on a stage.. most of them were on a Himalaya ride while the bear was in a maze game that we had to run around in and the skin of it was peeling off and it used to terrify me whenever i ran into it ._.

  • Chuck-E-Cheese has the better Pizza. Showbiz has the better animitronics. Billy Bob is an ASS KICKER! Billy Bob was probably a prior service Marine or something.

  • Please do RoxTar!

  • What was the name of that arcade? Way better than Chuck-e-Cheese.

  • This is why I'm going to invent a time machine. SHOWBIZ PIZZZZA FOREVER! BUY ROCK AFIRE EXPLOSION MOFO.

  • a good 4 min break from reality... Thanks from LA

  • They still scare me...

  • Comment removed

  • greatest video ever

  • Damn, I could have sworn that this was some "disco" song hailing from that era!

    MGMT, you tricksters!...

  • sick song

  • DUDE the bear is in the actual video.... trippy man.

  • My parents owned a Showbiz in the 80's.... it was awesome. Sad CEC bought them out.

  • My parents owned a Showbiz in the 80's.... it was awesome.

  • haha where is this at

  • Dem bears givin up some sweet funk

  • This reminds me when I went to Chuck E. Cheese younger and they brought out the muppets singing(:!

  • @MsAnastasiaBee These are the originals back when it was called Show Biz Pizza.

  • A webo! Yo nunca fui pero.q recuerdos jeje

  • Who is behind this and why are they not famous.

  • @chrisherself It was famous in the 1980s at the restaurant chain Showbiz Pizza. When Chuck E. Cheese filed for bankruptcy in the mid-1980s, Showbiz bought the company. However, due to high costs, and issues with the creators of the animatronics, Showbiz converted all the restaurant locations into Chuck E. Cheese. Showbiz was a thousand times better in mid 1980s fashion.

  • @chrisherself

they were replaced with CHuck E Cheese. The company who ran these guys runs chucke cheese

  • chuck norris would kick their electric asses!!

  • Totally forgot about the mouse to the far left...He NEVER came on when we used to go to SHowbiz!!!!

  • imagine seign this on shrooms oh wait i already did

  • Do Land Of A Million Drums by Outkast!!!!!

  • whoever made this video is awesome...i miss showbiz pizza so bad, and this song fits so perfectly

  • entertainment at its finest

  • HA the 1911 button!

  • The 80's Lives on! This video captures the passion and feel of that time. Long Live the RockaFire Explosion!

  • this song is gonna be played at my funeral

  • muito bom!!! parece o antigo show dos ursos do parque Playcenter de São Paulo no Brasil.

  • wow this is really great. the last time i went to one of these they had the wall portrait ones.

  • I wonder where these guys shop cause ive been wanting a new spacesuit, yellow tux, and red/yellow stripped overal;ls....

  • This seems like a druged up version of

    chuck e cheese

  • @Zhar97 chuck e cheese wasn't a part of this yet.

  • @HikaruYamamoto well based on when this song came out i think CEC was here....

    But i get your point

  • @Zhar97 This must be some sort of private thing because those puppets have been gone a long time ago. They must be at least 30 years old and they seem to be in near perfect condition.

  • @HikaruYamamoto Showbiz Pizza and Chuck E Cheese's (formerly Pizza Time Theatre) were two separate companies. PTT was formed in '77, Showbiz in '80. PTT went bankrupt in '84, and Showbiz bought them out, and they merged. They became Showbiz Pizza Time Inc, and switched to CEC Entertainment Inc, in 1998.

  • @chuckecheeseshows I think you meant to inform the other guy =)

  • Respond to this video... The puppets may be younger than I thought, like 20 years old?

  • @HikaruYamamoto These animatronics are 29-31 years old. The man who posted this is Aaron Fechter, the creator of the Rock-afire Explosion.

  • @Zhar97 wait, this isn't the chuck e cheese band?

  • @Zhar97 Amen, in a good way. B-)

  • creepy cool

  • I remember going to Show Biz Pizza on our birthday and our parents told them it was my sister and my birthday. They programmed our names into the show and we were shocked when we heard the band saying them.

  • 0:34 look at the bears eyes.

  • whats happenin!?

  • Is this REAL LIFE?!

  • Im hungry

  • LOL!!! Genius!

  • i like this vid better then the other

  • CHOO-CHOO I LOVE HIM!! :3

  • CHOO-CHOO I LOVE HIM :3

  • Man these guys are still more entertaining than Chuck E. Cheese. Nolan Bushnell needs to revive Showbiz and kick the mouse out on the curb!

  • @WebVMan Rat; Chuck E Cheese is a rat. Yes... it broke my heart that Showbiz was bought out. That was like our playground once every week. It was fun. Then after that sign changed from SHOW BIZ to CHUCK E CHEESE with that ugly rat, things weren't the same. I remember seeing Chuck every now and then in Show Biz: walking around the place as if he was Billy Bob--the REAL star of the business. I always knew there was something up with that rat. And furthermore, he even smelled like one.

  • @GBPackerLuke6 lol he is technically a mouse,

  • @WebVMan its too bad this show isn't around anymore.

  • @WebVMan I think that you have it backwards. Nolan Bushnell founded Chuck E. Cheese's, not Showbiz.

  • @WebVMan LOL!!! Nolan CREATED CEC, not Showbiz. He hasn't been involved with the company since the 80's. Get your facts straight, THEN comment. Sheesh.

  • @WebVMan YES!!!!!! I had three birthday parties at Showbiz when I was a kid!!!!! Always an awesome time...THis brought back fond memories of Ski Ball and Whack-A-Mole!!!!! AWESOME!

  • @slakerfet The guy who choreographs this invented the whac a mole prototype.

  • @WebVMan Well Said! :)

  • @WebVMan LOL... Nolan created Chuck E Cheese. Aaron fetcher should revive showbiz.

  • @WebVMan agreed! im thirty now but i used to go weekly and on birthdays then the mouse came along. i swear chukie cheese ripped the idea off....the band the games...the pizza...atmosphere....i miss billy bob.

  • Honey, where's my shotgun at?

  • sucks badly

  • I luv that song but graphics were bad

  • Tehe

  • i'm high rite now lookin for some trippy shit, but this by far has to be the tripiest.

  • the dog is the cutest and less scary when his mouth his closed ^^

  • rip off of the country bear jamboree :(

  • @buddie1489 I doubt Disney was even the first one who started doing that, much like all the rest of their work.

  • @ebolaboi yeah i guess your right anyway i LOVE these guys now! i used to not like them when i commented srry for the comment :)

  • The bear would probably be enough to scare the living shit out of kids, but then they got the bright idea to make them TALK? Kids don't understand how robots work, they probably think its real.

  • Best performance I've ever seen

  • this shit scared me for a min...

  • I don't remember the cave under the Showbiz Place. I do remember it being under the Chuck E Cheese stage. I went to a Showbiz that was next door to a Chuck E Cheese in Bakersfield when it first opened. I remember being disappointed that there wasn't a crawlspace. Admittedly, that was 1982 though when the Showbiz was built. The Chuck E Cheese was built in 1979.

  • The horror.....the horror....

  • Where is this?

  • Man....i can think of like 900 things to do with these things. Where in the world did you get it?

  • The bear is high

  • Lurve the beginning of the song

  • Love it! Respect for all the people in this world with a sense of humor

  • Woah these things are creepy lookin o.o I love the song gotta get my daily mgmt dose x3

  • The synchopation makes me think the movements were specifically designed for this song. It's that or there ae a striking number of coincidences. I suppose it doesn't matter ince the effect is the same.

    My socks have been rocked.

  • SCARYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

  • Dammit this brings back bad memories.

  • Actually the Rock-afire explosion performed at "Showbiz Pizza" the major competitor to "Chuck-e-Cheeses" back in the early 80's. This scared the SHITE outta me as a kid! lmfao

  • I wanna see these guys play some death metal

  • Great even these care bears are sexist

  • MGMT should have just used this as the video instead of spending so much money on that special effects shit.

  • MGMT had these guys in their music video! Just like they had those other two people who made their own music video of "Kids"! I guess MGMT appreciated their work.

  • The awesomeness of this video cannot even be put into words. How in the world was this production possible? They're spot-on! I used to stand as close to the stage as possible when I was a kid, hence my life-long concert enjoyment. Fatz and Beach Bear! I've literally watched this five times in the last half-hour. Nice work!

  • It may say "programmed by" but really they just put souls of children in these machines lol

  • I was always afraid that Gorilla might jump out at us. But I loved Rock-afire Explosion!

  • I was really hella scared of that gorilla as a kid...I remember the Showbiz that I had my party at, Billy Bob actually came out and I used to hide behind my dad because I wa scared of him too...lol

  • dude no wonder i was tripping during electric feel

  • lol they seem so real, why did this place close! I would go there now!
