  • Oh my gosh, this is so cute that my head just exploded!

  • Omg... does she/he have adrenal :(

  • @angela0715: Woozle had liver cancer.

  • What is Mr. Woozle's fur color? I mean, normally ferrets have a white under coat and black tips, he seems to have an orange under coat or something. Cute ferrets, BTW!

  • @InvaderRek: He had a dark cream undercoat with dark guardhairs. Murphy has a light cream undercoat and white and black guardhairs.

  • great video could you please tell me i have a ferret and i got her 2 friend how long will they fight when they are 1st meet together they was doing what your ferrets was and i got scared they would get hurt so i pulled them apart so could you please tell me how to do it i put them off 2 make sure they where ok and changed the beds then put them 2gether but im scared when they fight so i dont want them 2 get hurt thanks

  • @christygurl06: Just check to see if anyone is trying to run away or making unhappy noises. If they are all into it, they will keep going back for more wrestling.

  • @christygurl06 ferrets will always fight like this, i have ferrets who are 4 years old and still do this if the ferrets are both running and attacking each other they both want to play, if one gets too scared they will scream and make noises that sound different they might even poo on themselves if none of this is happening youre pretty well off and just have rowdy ferrets

  • Just curious as to why one of them has no hair on his tail? Is that Mr. Woozle? Could he have been adrenal? Poor baby...

  • @XReicheruX: He had cancer, and was being treated for insulinoma. No adrenal, but he had it tough enough without it, poor guy.

  • @AnonyFerret Poor baby...I'm sorry for your loss. :( The biggest speculation is that ferret kibble causes Insulinoma because of all the carbohydrates in the food. I recommend that everyone put their ferret on natural diets. There have been studies that have proven that ferrets on natural diets are definitely less likely to develope Insulinoma. I hope that helps anyone who may have this problem, and if you choose to get more ferrets in the future. I'm putting mine on a natural diet for sure.

  • @XReicheruX : Part of the problem is also supposedly that Marshal Farms ferrets aren't bred for good health or longevity because MF also supplies ferrets to labs. Selecting ferrets with superior health and longevity when breeding would possibly result in hardier ferrets with longer lifespans.

  • @AnonyFerret Yes, I've heard that too. And there's also the fact that they spay them too young and take them from their mothers too early.

  • they are dominatin eachother tellin who is boss.. see how tey grab eachothers neck after that they drag eachother across teh floor till the one dosnt react any more nad the other one knows he si hte alphalpha

  • @KaTeMuNsTeR: That's just how ferrets play.

  • Sorry to hear about your lose, i too lost a ferret recently and it was very hard on me and my fiance, but you just got to keep the good memorys alive, good luck with your baby, hope everything gose well

  • ahahhahaha che carini

  • @santos1234ishable: Grazie per il vostro commento. Mi scusa, non capisco, io non parlo italiano molto bene.

  • lol i love it when they dook! :D its very cute

  • This is obviously too late to say this, but not allowing them to establish dominance over one another will help them bond better and make aggressive fighting nonexsistance. (The alligator roll as well like to call it in the ferreting world haha) is a dominance behavior they are trying to see who is the alpha. You'll be able to differentiate this behavior from normal ferret play as it is pretty obvious :) they are both very very lovly little babies. :) good luck hun :D

  • @MyEnglandDiaries: Yes, unfortunately my elder ferret died 2-3 months after the baby arrived in the household, and was too ill to socialize with the younger ferret for the last 6 weeks of his life. Woozle was definitely the Alpha while alive, though!

Murphy is an only ferret at the moment. It's good advice for future ferrets introduced into the household, however.

  • @AnonyFerret oh so sorry for your loss :( hope all goes well for future furchildren :)

    Best.

  • @MyEnglandDiaries: Thanks for your kind words.

  • one of them has adrenal

  • @crazyboyaustin: No. One had insulinoma, and then liver cancer. Not adrenal. The hair loss LOOKS like adrenal, but was caused by other illnesses. There's another video documenting his illness on this account, if you are interested.

  • I just bought my first ferret, Nuki, about three months ago! I want another one so she has someone other than me to play with, can't afford another one right now though. Woozles rule!! :D

  • You may qualify to be a foster ferret parent or to adopt from a shelter or rescue in your area, and all three of those options are less expensive than going to a store, and that's also better for the ferrets involved (to get adopted).

  • The little guy in this video just turned one and is no longer so little. Videos coming soon when I have the time to edit and upload. :)

  • they are vampires trying to bite eachother lol

  • How did Mr. Woozle react to meeting a new friend? We are planning on eventually having 2 ferrets but we want to buy them at seperate times and I'm afraid that the one we get first won't like the new one and we'll have to keep them seperated, plus I have no idea how to introduce them lol.

  • Mr. Woozle always liked other ferrets. I made a point of introducing him to new ferret buddies as often as possible.

He liked Murphy fine, but the baby was far more energetic than he was, since he was elderly and terminally ill. He'd enjoy Murphy's company in short bursts.

There are articles online about how to introduce new ferrets to old ones, including getting your vet to check for ECE and mites. I'd Google "introduce new ferret", as that will give you more data than I can fit here.

  • Thanx a bunch, I'm kind of skeptic about introducing the first one to another one, but I know he would be better off with a play mate.

  • this is really cute xxx

  • Yeah i want a male Dark eyed White but cant find a baby ANYWHERE anyoen know a website where teh ycan ship baby ferrets :D?

  • Sorry, don't know of any reputable breeders who would do that.

  • :/

Color doesn't matter. Why don't you rescue a ferret who really needs it?

  • To be fair, we have no idea how much money or time the poster donates to ferret rescues and shelters, how many ferrets s/he owns, and whether or not s/he fosters.

Also, some people have preferences for one breed of dog than another, and it doesn't make their preference wrong. I'd say the same applies to ferrets. Preferring one coloration over another is not evil.

At shelters, most people wind up picking the animal they bond with the most, regardless of colour, anyway. :)

  • P.S. In case it's not clear, I object more to wanting a live animal subjected to he stress of being treated like a package. If you livve in an area that does not have rescues or shelters or even (reputable and knowledgable) pet stores, too bad for you. Pick another pet, or travel to get one, and make sure you have a vet in your area that treats them.

  • This is true. I suppose it was just a personal opinion. I've just always rescued animals, regardless or breed or color.

And I never said it was evil, I just said color doesn't matter in the end and you could find a perfectly awesome ferret at a shelter and not have to have one bred and put through the process of shipping.

But still, it's just a personal opinion. :3

  • I'm sorry for your loss and I know how it feels to have a little escape artists. We lost our youngest for a day until our dogs found her under the shed the next night because no one closed the top of their food dish.

  • man i really want a ferret... well two :)

  • Two ferrets are ideal. I agree. Alas, I only have one, Murphy, now. Mr. Woozle died in December. :(

  • aw that's sad i'm sorry to hearyour loss but that was a cute name ^-^

  • CUTE FERRETS!!! Sorry to hear about Mr. Woozle. And just out of curiosity, how do they treat ECE? Can they?

  • @jessi97603: The vet can prescribe something to kill the bug re: ECE. The good news is that once they have it, they rarely get it again (or so I am told). So, better for Murphy to have already dealt with it when young and healthy than later on.

  • no problem

  • I am so sorry for your loss. at lease he was loved. how old?

  • He was approximately 8 years old, which is quite old for a ferret, I suppose. Thanks for your condolences.

  • Inappropriate trolly comment by "AnaNord" removed.

  • Mr. Woozle died tonight (December 20th). It was peaceful, and he died while being cuddled and talked to and soothed. He will be missed.

  • :-(

  • :(

    :(

deepest condolences, we are sad too for you.

  • The new baby is named Murphy. :)

  • Tiramisu has my vote

  • Also, I vote Minky Boodle

  • Awesome!! Can't wait to met them!

  • Cute!

    Get well soon, Mr. Woozle.

  • They got along instantly, though the baby gave Woozle a bug. :( his tummy is upset and he's got some nausea. They are both heading to the vet Monday.

  • Love is a pain sometimes.

  • I like Fidget goes well with Mr. Woozie! Is he happy or jealous of the kid in the house?
