I grew up a block away from the park and now my daughter loves to take the jet ski out with me. We usually see tons of em, and last week we pulled up to about a 12 footer sunning on a log. most of the summer you can count at least 20 or 30 in only a matter of minutes.

what an amazing thing to find!! wow, how big do you think this one is? and is this a place where gators should not be??

It looked like it was 6 foot long, easily. And oh no, this was somewhere you would expect to see one, Anahuac is the alligator capital, they have signs all over stating watch for alligators around there.
