Yeah! I watched the trailers! I sure hope Super Mario Galaxy 2 will be as epic if not better than the first one. And you are right about one point thoug: altough yoshi did appear in a NES game, he really started as a playable character in the SNES (super mario world). Well that's what I think. I do not recall any NES game where you can play with yoshi (except "mario is missing", but that game was released after "super mario world").

oh man...Megaman shoudl have DEFINITELY been in Brawl, especially over those Mountain climber fools or Sonic...(at least Mega Man was a Nintendo exclusive from Mega Man 1 all the way up to Mega Man X2 (1987-1994) while Sonic has only been on Nintendo recently and is NOT an exclusive now.

But I guess licensing rights forbid Megaman from being on SSB...shame..

super smash bros was origionally made for the super nintendo entertainment system (snes) that is why it is called SUPER smash bros the n64 was coming out close to when it was meant for release and so they edited it for n64
