Chris gayle is a one trick pony, certainly a handy 20/20 & 50/50 player but he isnt cut out for Test cricket. If you wanna get him out just put a few guys on the boundary edge when he comes out to bat & give him a short slower ball & he cant help himself but attempt to latch on & get caught everytime...hes so predictable!

Chris Gayle is the best Test batsman that Jamaica has produced since Lawrence Rowe. He depends on timing most of the time,. He is the only batsman in the history of cricket to make a century in every format of the game- 20-20- One Day International and Test, in the last 25 years he is the only West Indian batsman besides Brian Lara to score a triple century in Test cricket, not even the great Sir Viv Richards ever scored a triple century in Test cricket.
