This is the only religious person that truly earns his keep, I am just about tuning into the 70's so I should know something. Besides beautiful songs and an excellent voice he has the most connecting sincerity and goodwill and a look and a manner that matches it. I am a Catholic but to me he is my priest , my Pope, my repose my hope and I venture to say a good contribution for my salvation helping me navigate trough some rough seas and relax me toward a calm state of mind .
