@karandex , I don't no of any suitable alternative to PEEK. It needs to be a good thermal insulate and hold its strength at about 260C. People have used bakelite and wood but they don't have a a high enough temperature rating in my opinion. There are designs that just use PTFE, but they are all unreliable.
You can use stainless steel and a heatsink, but that makes the carriage heavy.
what is best extruder hot end for wade to build if i got lathe, i find plubstruder hard, i dont have access to peek

Yes so am I! The noise comes from one z-base when it goes up and the other when it goes down.
