Yeah true that, I've yet to encounter a hiphop album as good as this, el-p's got the production on lock, shame Fantastic Damage doesn't have this same vibe or that could have been a close contender, still dope though...Deltron 3030 is a good album for sure, haven't listened to that in a while saying that, I might have to give it a session right now
Been listening to this for 10 years and I'm finally getting some of the philosophical aspects of it. I think it's about creation, as obviously atoms are the building blocks of matter. "If I'm the author I'm also the farmer, stupid" Humans created the idea of God. Of course it all applies to day-to-day life, "We're all from the same mold, spores and bacteria." It doesn't matter so let's put our differences aside and "just enjoy the bumpy ride".
this was neo hip hop. At that time people were still bumping 90's style beats and 90's style gangsta rap, these guys came in with ode-to, yet electronically new hiphop beats and third eye lyrics. Thumbs up if you know what Im talking about.
