That book is full of shit and so is Rick Warren. Please watch AngieAntiTheist's videos on the PDL and then, if you yourself aren't as retarded as Warren, will realise what is wrong with the book and how incredibly stupid it really is.

@JamesWK08 I had seen her vids, and having a different opinion doesn't make me retarded. AngieAntiTheist's opinion is just that, her opinion. I am open minded and can see and have experienced the good this book has. As I am a Christian, I know this book is no Bible, but I have gained a lot of positive from it.

The only thing I do not like is people who not truly understand Christianity, yet accuse it like they know everything about it. Anyway, thanks for your comments.

@mukeh111 No, it's not opinon. The book is clearly stupid and contradictory. Warren quotes god. He actually quotes god! The book tells you to be a slave, basically. Please, don't be a slave to your god. Don't be a slave to Rick Warren. He's pure evil, why can't you see this?

@JamesWK08 I read the Bible. I look for and find the truth there. This book is just a help. From Warren's book, I can see where he comes from in his explanations. But I don't worship Warren, I worship God. Thanks for your comments.

@Tapecutter59 well, after hearing different people's comments on this book, I can't honestly say (at this point) how great or misleading this book actually is. But I do know that this book has significantly helped changed my life to becoming more serious in my faith to seek God's Word in the Book that counts (the Bible). That is what matters. I thank God profusely for being changed through the book. I've literally never been happier. Thank you for your kind words.

My recomendation is that if you really want to be unbiased, read the book and then go to the videos of Angieantythist about this very same book.

Ths way you will have a better understanding and make you own mind.

It`s actually not based on biblical principles at all. Bible quotes are taken out of context, and nowhere in the bible can you find Warren`s claims of what the christian god will ask of you when you die, or how people earn a spot in god`s heaven, or anything that is in there. It`s just a lot of claims by the billionaire rick warren telling everyone how to live.

@666vixen This book is written for us to get a better understanding of what Christianity really means. The verses aren't taken out of context, they point out key things for us to pay attention to including what to expect on Judgement Day. It is no replacement for the Bible, the standard for truth. Warren didn't show anyone how to 'earn' a spot in Heaven. We can't. Only by repentance, receiving God's grace and getting filled with the Holy Spirit. God's grace is freely given to those who want it.

@mukeh111 It's really not. Have you read the bible lately? Try Deuteronomy or Leviticus. Warren's book is filled with contradictions!! Like, god plans every single moment of your life, including the moment you decided to read warren's book, but yet, "the way you define your life determines your destiny", and the decisions you make have consequences in heaven. The list goes on. It's not a way for christians to get into heaven or live by, it's a propaganda tool for rick warren. Period.

@666vixen I can't argue on this point because only Warren himself and God know the true intentions behind the writing of the book. I learned a lot of important stuff though. It motivated me to become more serious in learning about Jesus and following Him. I love the Bible. It's so inspirational and thought provoking. You know when you get a good book and feel sad when it's over? The Bible goes on and on:)

those who don't really get what it means to follow Him don't know what they're missing!

@mali1covjek From what I know, it seems muslims don't teach that Jesus is the only way for humans to be saved and to learn to live life as Jesus taught (Christianity as a way of life, not human rule-bound religions) And if we do not believe in the real thing, we are worshiping idols. I am not a muslim, and I will never judge an individual, that's up to God.

I am really glad I believe in Jesus, as I have never known greater happiness and passion for what really matters in our lives! :)
