  • Curiously enough Tchaikovsky, for some bizarre reason best known to himself (or perhaps for no rational reason) detested Chopin's music. Poor misguided one!

  • You have matured incredibly, Jules. Here you have all the passion, power, poetry and pathos in Chopin's wonderful music-drama.

It would have been fun if you had also played and recorded one or two Tchaikovsky pieces, from "The Seasons", also on this Tchaikovsky piano.

Congratulations, also, for coping with an elderly piano which has seen better days and recording/acoustics of a subprime nature.

  • Jules, I love this ballade!

    Your interpretation is magnificent!

I imagine the meaning of playing in this piano...

    Bravo!!!

  • C'est juste magnifique !bravo ***** of course !

  • What a wonderful performance! All the stars for you!

  • Jules ... you are very gifted and play the masters very well. Have you composed a piece yourself? If you have, would you post it to YouTube? Thanks.

  • such profound giftedness!!!

  • great pianist!! and nice interpretation!! CONGRATULATIONS!!

  • you ve very much matured as a musician. well done.

  • You know how to get a good sound out of that piano, it's beautiful, sounds like an old recording. Amazing performance, you can really play but what's more important you're a true musician too! I guess Chaikovsky would have been content hearing you play on his piano.

  • Excellent job! Beautifully done, I enjoyed your performance.

  • Bravo my friend!
