  • @ProtestMoveOn Sure, especially if you like screwing women to it.

  • Thumbs up if you're a WOMAN and PROUD! :)

  • @JinyChannel I am here becuase of Sex & The City 2 and because us sisters have got to stick together I am wommannnnnnnnnn. x x

  • This song was number one on the Billboard chart, only the November 9th, 1972, the day Green Day's Drummer Tré Cool was born, all make sense lol xD

  • The Problem with Helen Reddy is that SHE HAS DONE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to benefit or improve the standard of living for Women in the World. Her only contribution is this stupid song which MIND YOU EVERY RIGHT WING talk show host has only mocked to millions of Radio listeners All around the World! Jesuuus and she converted to a Jew ! Ya know that makes sense!BLAHAHAHa

  • Good lines. This became a feminist statement, because of the roar. Helen used her fame to mock Sandy Posey (born a woman) who in the first half of her song made a clear statement, then spoiled it. 5 years earlier. Helen didn't write this (Martha Sharp did) Helen got the credit . Posey wrote part of her song, together with Ray Burton. Helen could have attacked male singers. Why another woman? . I like the text, hated the vicious attack on Posey Strong? Weak?! And if you want to roar, do it.

  • Thumbs UP' if You listen it in 2012!!!:D:P

  • You fucking go Helen I have listen to this music for 30 years and I still love it.

  • She is hot!

  • I love this song! Thanks My Momfriend for giving me this song !Love you!..

  • The embryo line made me crack up.

  • Great song. Now go do the dishes! Just kidding : ) I remember hearing this song as a kid and liking it. Very powerful and amazing vocals. It can inspire all people from all walks of life. Even middle age men like myself. Great to revisit.

  • 13 ain't getting any sex

  • I AM WOMEN HEAR ME ROAR

  • @wolf767676dg

How many women are you? :D

  • Comment removed

  • I don't think that women should only be bare foot and pregnant. But I am soooo sick and tired of turning on the TV, especially on the morning shows and it's only on women's issues. Most commercials are showing women in front of the cameras. These small colleges like Kaplan, Brown Mackie and MedTech are more focused on women. No one gives a crap about the men.

  • 13 people think women belong in the kitchen!

  • this video is the shit!!!! woman's rights in this bitch!!!

  • Historically and currently, the most common method of poisoning used by women is by hiding it in food or drink. Would you really want women in the kitchen preparing such victuals for meatheads such as you suggesting openly that such a position is the only one deemed lowly enough for those such as them?

  • @MKLaxBro cont; Any other pathetic argument you or others were to put forth I am more than confidant of being able to counter with my reasoning functioning as phagocytes. Yeah, I just made that ridiculous last sentence in order to employ a complicated sentence structure and a slightly ridiculous word that shows that the comprehension of the word “flabbergasted” did little to dissuade my initial appraisal of your brain capacity.

  • @MKLaxBro cont; So I would proffer instead, Mr. Flabbergasted, that 70% of grey matter in that hugely vast brain of yours is decayed, resulting in your inability to perceive the fact that citing Borat as a source, even in a comedic fashion or to aggravate others for your own sadistic enjoyment simply bolsters support for the fact that you, “sir”, are an abomination to decency and an idiot.

  • @MKLaxBro and whomever else:The Y chromosome has the same make up as the X chromosome but with a bit missing.

Larger brains have been proven to not necessarily correlate with greater intelligence.

However, a peanut brain would be of such a small size that an individual possessing one would not live to an age where they would be capable of spelling , typing, or even maintaining consciousness.

  • @gotch09 Silence women you are commanded. Your brain is incapable of understanding anything. Why, your ignorance of your low status in society by the fact that you are a women leaves me flabbergasted! Does this vocabulary sound like someone who has a "peanut brain"? And Borat Sagdiev proved this in his film, Borat: Cultural Learning of America for Make Benefit of Glorious Nation of Kazakistan.

  • @GinnevraS it's not a theory if it true you wild boar

  • @MKLaxBro i agree that wild boar should be put back in her place! ... the kitchen!

  • im a guy and i enjoy this song. just saying

  • I believe women should be unheard, stay home and keep the house clean, teach their daughters to clean and do household chores, and have their voting rights taken away. Scientists in Khazakstan have proved the the womens brain is much smaller than one of a male.

  • @MKLaxBro just because you are dum enough to belive that theory doesnt mean we would too okay. and if you are so happy with women being treated like wild boars then go to hell or stay shut up at home all right. im a woman and i have a lot more brains than you do. its obvious that women rule the world.

  • @MKLaxBro What your brain must be the size of a peanut. That's why down South, we called your type "Goober". What does Khazakstan know? Show me this "proof".

  • I love it!

  • love this song!

  • U know what montaguejoe go suck it women r just as equal as guys according to the constitution I'm 12 and I know that but u probablyndont bc ur just sitting on urine and offending women so just stop being gay

  • I want a sandwich

  • Ohhhh yes, I'm a guy!!!!

  • fuck women, this shows how shit they are

the penis rules over the cunt.

  • @montaguejoe and that comment shows why women in the future may choose a sperm bank rather than some pencil dick idiot.

  • @montaguejoe oh yeah? do you seriously think your penis is going to take care of the house, the kids and even earn money to feed your family? do you think it will give birth to a beautiful baby who will be our future? if you do then seriously, go see a psychiatrist.

  • My aunt Floragene was definitely a woman...but she could GUT you like a MAN-!

  • I been singing this song in the car and finally I look it up.

  • Swarley!!

  • SEX AND THE CITY 2

  • The most beautiful song ever!

  • interesting i thought i was here to enjoy the music.. was i wrong EMR

  • Thumbs up if u find urself singing along with the song..:))

  • I AM WOMYN. HEAR ME RAWR.

  • i lost my virginity to this song

  • My mom loved everything from this song to (Stand by your man),what a contrast. Both good songs by powerful women!!!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG <3

  • Love is totally selfless. You and your mate think about nothing but making your mate happy . This is why we have had the happiest marriage that we know of .

  • When my wife was a little girl in High School she dreamed of the man who would sweep her off her feet and make her feel wanted and needed and loved . Over the past 36 years I never forgot for one minute that I must be the one to make her life happy . I asked her 2 years ago - How did I measure up to the guy you dreamed of when you were young ?? She said are you kidding ? I could not even have created a guy like you in my dreams. You far exceeded him .It was my happiest moment to hear this.

  • I loved this song in sex and a the city 2!

  • I can feel the woman in me in this song..

  • Men & women will never be "equal" in that there is no difference except the plumbing. That isn't true. Girls, don't buy into the lie of feminism. You wont be happy if you do. I kind of like this song though. This lady doesn't sound too radical to tell you the truth.

  • @T5radioop wow, your pathetic not to mention idiotic. look around you, women r "equal" in many ways, it hasn't been that long since we got our right to vote, just give us a few more year. and btw "don't believe the lie of feminism" who r u?! no maybe not 100% equal in everything, but thanks to feminist women can do everything u can. men might still hole open the door and women might still get custody right more often, but in every important sence women r and will be equal to men.

  • @T5radioop what makes men so special, so different? in fact, it is women who can carry a child, give birth to a living being. now that people is special!

  • damn , she was gorgeous..Song about women or not.. Its a great song

  • ..i like this song of Helen especially when it was sang by Sex and the City stars.. love it so much..

  • Thumbs up if you're here because of Sex And The City 2 ! :D ♥

  • @JinyChannel I hate that show : (

  • Th8umbs up if you're here because of Sex And The City 2 ! :D ♥

  • I'm a bloke who has worked in the underground mining industry for the last 25 years and have seen women enter this field.

I had my doubts at frist like all of us did.

Now I have seen some of the best workers ever in my life and would give my right arm for a few more like them.

  • @lawlers69 good on you. Woman and Men should have the right to do whatever they want. Great money in mining so it someones willing to do it male or female why not. And not meaning to toot my own horn, but women have worked just as hard as any man since this earth was created. Be it being a mum (which is the hardest job I've ever done) to doing manual work to corporate or both! My husband still thinks he should put his feet up after a days work, I don't have that luxury! lol

  • is perfect !!!

  • Wow-what memories. I was in grade school and my mother had this record. It was a really exciting time for her.

  • This song is sooo me these days.

  • Ahhhh,if the man I know in my life could be half the woman I am as a man then maybe I might have something..think about that !!

  • Everytime I hear this song I want to run out and get a sex change operation!

  • @gertzadek you're a dude ?

  • @JinyChannel I'm a lesbian trapped in the body of a man : -)

  • @gertzadek bwahahah x) !

  • Thumps Up' If You Still Listen To This Song in 2011!! :D

  • @LottieLambertsen 2012 GOML

  • @LottieLambertsen and 2012!

  • i love this song

  • Wooo she's Australian... Like me!!! :D

  • @nvyou101 and me!! haha

  • Women will not ever win equal footing until they stop calling each other whores. I know of a situation in my town where a very successful beautiful woman fell on hard times, got hook on drugs and started prostituting herself. Certain women in town took to telling the drunks that she could be "had" for a beer..and they even supplied the beer and later ridiculed her for selling herself so cheap. Yes, Alicia..I'm talking about you!

  • Always loved Helen Reddy. She brings back so many memories for me growing up as a child.. Her distinctive voice always takes me back to those days in the 70s.

  • "I AM STRONG I AM INVISBLE AND I AM WOMAN"

  • Makes me proud to be Australian...

Helen Reddy... Youy are awesome !

  • everyone!!!!!!! see all this petty fighting on here, stop it. This song is about being strong and everything not about fighting. you guys are the reason why the right to us women werent given to us sooner. im not trying to be a bitch but cmon we all should respect ourselves and others and this is not the place to be fighting. again i dont want rude coments to me sorry

  • @kortneyzerphey You are very right!Lets all enjoy this song, its not about rights and wrongs, its about beeing able to stand on our own and i say its quite a hard mission now a days.

  • @kortneyzerphey You said it sister!

  • @kortneyzerphey I would just like to point out that you victimizing your entire gender is actually among the main reasons for your past oprpession, and I think that this song is really a critic of the victimization of women.

  • @HisGri im pointing out people that are fighting on here. how am i victimizing my gender. and you trying to fight is also the reason why i put it.

  • @kortneyzerphey Never be "sorry" Women are long over due!

  • this song is so sweet

  • thanks for the video! love it!

  • shut up sweetbrowneyedlady ur dumb thats why irls shouldn't do our work

  • Sex and the city !! :P

    Really love this song (L)

    Women Power <3

  • yeah get it stright 1 dumb blonde

  • @sweetbrowneyedlady

    >20 years old

    >takeoutadams96

    >2011-1996=20?

a classic example of how women are horrible at math

  • @GangstaClown678 Sure studying ancient lating greek math makes me horrible at math? Who are you telling all women tht they are bad at math. And although some are horrible at math. I know alot of guys tht are too. If you didnt know yet...Math is not that easy for 99 % of the world population. Nobody is perfect. Look at me. Im horrible at writting in englishXD

  • o shut up ur the women that works in the kitchen and stuff so shut up and make me a sandwich...

  • go back to the kitchen were u belong ! girls souldn't do mens work

    !

  • know your roll and shut your mouth

  • @sweetbrowneyedlady Well, in that case let's just get rid of all those expensive shrinks if Helen Reddy can just help us all. but Seeing I have a different point of view on life and other matters, I'm going to try and keep the honor to myself and just quit this pointless conversation, goo'day.

  • @sweetbrowneyedlady I don't know what that has to do with everything, but yes, that's true.

  • Invincible

    Until you're offended

    Then you're fragile.

  • perfect song for women out there.. :)

  • "The more things change, the more they stay the same" Women's Lib was great in certain areas, but basically it made things easier for men. Now women HAVE to work, it' not a choice-- and they still steer clear of the homely chores and taking care of the kids. To me it's more of a Men's Lib. Now they don't have to carry the responsibility -fully that is- of the woman and the family. Lucky bastards!!

  • Helen Reddy may be woman, but Whitney Houston is every woman.

  • I am a woman,

    I'm at that table... <3

    This song is amazing! :O

  • Sex and the City 2 <3

  • I can't hear this song now without thinking of that episode of The Simpsons where female Homer is driving and singing this XD great song though!

  • I just finished my initial work on the first Woman Apostle (Junia). The last page has the lyrics from this song.

  • Its so funny that the only way some men can get pleasure is to put a woman down... This song is one of my anthems, been through some right crap in my life over the past few years (NOT man related) and it reminds me that I have to keep going..

  • like this is sex and the city brought you here

  • Remember it well! It was in the early '70s, in the first heady days of the feminist movement. I too was entering a man's profession, and this song was a powerful anthem for me and so many of my sisters!

  • Women suck ;D

  • @TheUnreaI No, you do. :3

  • @TheUnreaI , Now just you go get on with the housework, polishing and dusting, cleaning and washing & ironing and for God's sake get it done before your wife gets in or your'e in for SH@T !

  • i am woman hear me roar!

  • i know too much to go back and pretend !

  • This song is so about Jackie Kennedy and Ethel as well...:} and Rose of course impecable lady!

  • Reddy needed a MAN, Ray Burton, to help her write the song! HA HA HA

  • Its crazy to think that so many years ago women were looked down upon. I was lucky to be born into a generation where I have all kinds of beautiful strong women to look up to. I am invincible!

  • i love love love this song!(-:

  • Go girls go.......................!

  • I am women!

  • :)

  • I'm a chemist for the local plant in SC. I work with some of the most prestigious men in the nation. Instead of following their footsteps, I've created my own. My car was keyed and other attempts have been made to scare me off. I started singing this song in the lab and many men were swearing as they heard when they passed by my lab. :-)

  • @jessethomas666 I bet in real life you're just really annoying and self-righteous plus demonstrating a persecution complex and that's why they're swearing.

  • @jb0nez123 Bet you don't get laid much. lol, only losers pick on women. Go suckle at your mama's breast a little longer and heal thyself.

  • @jessethomas666 Thank you from all of your sisters. Hear us roar!

  • This one goes out to Swarley

  • I can do anything, i am strong (strong), i am invinsible (invinsible) i am a woman..........

  • thanx to that movie "sex and the city",lol!.but i love that song. :-)

  • For all the women who weren't around at the time this song came out, this song was a rallying cry for all women oppressed by men. At work, at home, wherever. I was entering into a man's profession, and being attractive, these men would say things like "who did you sleep with to get in?", amongst other more insulting statements. Nevermind that I earned all my A's and was on Dean's list for all 4 years of college, in addition to earning all sorts of awards. Things are somewhat better.

  • @slinkyfeline

This song was one I listened to when I was on my way to USMC boot camp back in 1973. I am Woman AND Marine.

  • @slinkyfeline hate to break it to you, but nobody oppresses women worse than other (usually jealous) women.

  • @slinkyfeline Frankly, radical feminism is not only anti-female, but unaware of true female advancement.

In fact, if anything, susan b anthony probably held back women's rights. some Strippers in the old west gradually gained dominant status (ex: giving free healthcare to male and female employees), and flappers making female physical strength "womanly". Don't take my word for it, take Thadeuss Russel's

  • it gives so much strength ♥

  • @naisho No it doesn't, it's a song.

  • @Pmobileee So what? Songs are able to give strength to yourself!

  • @naisho No, they cannot. That's impossible in any way.
