  • Thia album was a "budget" record, sold at a price below mainstream discs, But Jerry sure nailed that one, didn't he? Almost perfect, IMHO.

  • This track comes from the Mercury album "The Return of Rock", a great collection,e g Baby hold me Close, Roll over Beethoven, Herman the Hermit, Got you on my Mind etc.

  • o interpretare deosebita

  • Seems like this Corinna was quite the player back then...she ended up married to a truck driver from Mesa and had six kids. They now live in a Tempe retirement home.

  • @Tigermoon1950 And she still goes off like a fire cracker!!

  • haha that's funny my name is corinna(: my grandfather always sing this song when he was at our house. he died 6 months ago T.T

  • The killer is always beautiful.

  • damn what a shuffle groove..!!!!!!

  • perfect!

  • Excellent!!

  • Everybody's got their own opinions, but this period of Jerry's career is my favorite overall. He was still semi-sober, serious as a heart attack about his piano skills and singing, hadn't become hooked on the hard drugs yet, and had better studio musicians than the ones at Sun. Also the 4 track tape machine and board were far superior to what Sun had as a two track studio. Wish I knew who that drummer was though - man, he was really cuttin' time back there! Totally awesome in every way!

  • Prove it--upload a pic of the relevant bits.

  • comparisons with his "Sun" days are inevitable, but jerry lee did dozens of kick-ass sides for mercury. no matter what label...he's up there with armstrong, fitzgerald, sinatra and ray charles. no matter what poop they were forced to do, they DELIVERED. i rest my case...i'm gonna dance now!
