How in the world did Dennis think he could make it big, when no one on this continent could pronounce his last name? Dennis Liqueur would have been nice -- would have fit his liquid voice. Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show was NOT a good name for this band. It conjured up the idea of a pirate, focusing on Ray who wore the eye patch. Their best and lead singer was definitely Dennis Locorriere, who still is the best white soul singer on the planet.
