It's great feeding people, but how about going forward we teach these people to feed themselves. ie: Learn how to fish, rather than having fish thrown at them!

A lot of these people are farmers who are experiencing frequent drought due to global warming and environmental degradation. Moreover, they may have food just not the type of food that is nutritionally adequate for children under the age of 2 years.
