Let's see...1726 plus 1859...how about we meet in the middle somewhere and make a record Germany doesn't even have enough guitars to beat. I'm from Texas, and was one of the 1859 who broke the record. When I say in the middle, I mean NORTH Texas. God Bless Texas.
That would be a great idea, but the logistics of moving 1800 people from southern Ontario to North Texas would probably set some records too. But 3575 guitars going at once would rock!
sweet video Ron. We were close, only about 77 guitars short. We beat Toronto and are the "Canadian" record holders. "Thats me playin to the right of the camera (6:51sec) Had fun tryin. Thanks to all that participated. HAMILTON KICKS A*S
I was also there, it was fun as hell. Even if we didn't make it, we beat Toronto, and that's what matters anyway. But I don't know where people are getting the information that we didn't make it, I've been checking google all day. Would have been alot louder if more people had acoustics instead of electrics, but all I could bring was my SG.
Thanks for uploading this, i was on the far left side of the stage. It was pretty cool being apart of this. I guess we'll know if we did it by Monday.
You can really appreciate how many guitars were there when the musicians on stage stop for a few measures and all you hear are all the un-amped guitars in the crowd.
Clearly, ron4blues, we need a sugar daddy!
