  • Wtf is in the background at 0:43

  • @Rockflier My guess is one of those inflatable decoy owls you can use to keep birds out of your garden.

  • why not use wood?

  • at 2:12 it looks like you are gong to gently place it down but you slam it lol

  • Dude. Seriously. Tripod.

  • oh damn, dumb ass, goofy, rednecks making their own black powder.SHHEEEEIIIIITTTTTT

  • messy motherfucker!!!! you're so fucking goofy!!!!

  • Can you use any kind of wood to make the charcoal?

    Will it perform any differently?

  • i use 70.5kno3 29.5 charcoal

  • lmao i no i made sum today...what ratio of charcoal and kno3 u use?

  • um if your talking to me about the ratio i usally use 70/30 kno3 and charcoal, but ussally use 75 g kno3, 15 g charcoal, 10 g sulphur or sugar but sugar makes it slow sulphur is a lot better

  • u can make bp with napkin charcoal lmao...seriously works decent

  • shit man it does work decent

  • how u make napkin charcoal

  • @badboypl3

You do the same process as above but, using teared up napkins. Be sure not to burn them and creat ashes, just until they are really dark you want Black though complete black

  • @badboypl3

You rip up pieces of napkins or newspaper, then place it inside and do the same process

  • if the hole for the gases has a flame coming out of it for a little while while your making the charcoal is it ruined, even only if there is a flame for a short amount of time?

  • not ruind but it wont be all that good

  • its not advised to use charcoal from the store because the briquets or how ever u spell it have clay in them thats how they keep their shape

  • umm. is the charcoal you seek gonna be for bp? =s

  • Hey does anyone know- can you grind down kingsford grilling coals instead?

  • i have used it it worked ok but it isnt the best quality for bp

  • yeah, but you're better off with balsa or willow charcoal. bbq coals have pebbles and things in them to retain heat and they are usually made from hardwood.

  • Thank God for Kingsford off the grocery store near you.

  • Willow and basla are the best pine is good for star fireworks as well ut works like basla

  • charcoal +patasium nitrate +sulfer = ;)

  • what do you do with the patasium nitrate ;) add alittle sulfer ;) haha

  • I always heard willow is a very good one to use but other soft woods are ok and behave differently.

  • Suddenly all pyro's wanna know which trees they have in their garden :)

  • do u have to use alder wood?

  • no, use any soft wood

  • @gobidee hard wood is better it just need more heat to burn the gas out but you get denser charcoal

  • DO U HAVE TO GRIND IT

  • yes i u want to use it for bp or else u have hellish bp

  • will it work in black powder if i just burn the wood

  • lol then its not coal then its ach dunno how to spell ash or ach xDD

  • The correct spelling is ash. :)

  • hey so i have question so once this is made "Charcoal" and after it been grinded in to fine powder. could this act as black powder if u light it on fire? or is this just a mixture ur surpose to use to make Black Powder?

  • no charcoal will just glow by itself.u hve to add potassium nitrate and sulfur to it

  • yo. what did you put around your coffee grinder to catch the dust? Could you tell me how you did/made it?

  • a plastic bag

  • lol

  • ok now i know why my blackpowder doesnt burn all that fast... im not using a soft charcoal :(

  • can i make this mix for firecrackers and polumnas?

  • wat mix?

  • ur charcoal mix or recipe or wut ever the fuck u wana call it lol i wana make fircrackers but im out of flash and my flash i ordered is on back order for a month and i need 2 know if that will work like flash powder.....

Also, does pine make goo charcoal?

  • both work good

  • made some today, worked great for BP!

  • theres some vids of mine of my cedar bp and alder.

  • yes..thanxs =)

  • arnt u just getting ashes from the wood? lol.......and could cedar be a good charcoal? thanxs.

  • cedar to me is the second best charcoal avalible......

  • are there actually any signs of when the charcoal is done. like does the smoke slow down? or do u just have to time it

  • hey man would openly burnt match sticks work?

  • it would probly give ashes and if it gave charcoal it would not be good quality

  • ok hthanks buddy, would bulsa wood work with your method?

  • balsa makes the best charcoal

  • it's called editing :P

you probably could have cut this video down to 4 minutes if you wanted to

  • i just ball mill my charcoals cuz i don't have a coffe grinder and it does it great job but it takes about 10-15 mins tho

  • the charcoal is cumbustible rite or does it just burn please reply

  • it just burn

  • it just stays with an ember not burn

  • hey where do u get potassium nitrate and suplher from?

  • well u get potassium from something like grants stump remover or any other stump remover & u get sulpher by askin someone in the gardening section for sulpher(both are found at LOWES)

  • Really? thanks. i am also guyanese too.

  • they have it at lowes? lol sweet.. do you know any good names for charcoal at lowes by brand name?

  • who said they did
