I love how Rose puts his subjects on the spot whoever they are. Rose gets to heart of the matter with Brokaw's own life in public service on this interview.

I read Brokaw's book BOOM! about the 1960's and the baby boomers revolution during the Sixties against things in public service like the draft, the military, and American culture in general.

It's interesting that many Boomers today are pro-military when 40 years ago, they always questioned "the Establishment" and military service.

Tom Brokaw has lost his credibility with me.

He has no idea who Barack Obama is with just DAYS left in a TWO-YEAR campaign, which included his horrible performance as an attempted debate moderator.

Can I really believe his synopses on "The Greatest Generation"??

I don't think you know who Obama is either. During their campaign, neither of the candidates went into great detail about what they plan to do about foreign policy. They didn't mention much about the issue with China, North Korea, or Russia. Worst of all, they didn't mention the very unconstitutional FISA act. Brokaw claims that he doesn't know the candidates, because the media only mentions the economy now days.
