saw this production in 2004 and twice in 2010, Spagnoli (from Dandini to Magnifico), D'Arcangelo (Alidoro), Di Censo (Clorinda) and Palacios (Tisbe) made me break into laughters every single time they appeared :)

Spagnoli grande cantante abbastanza sottovalutato, bell'esempio di bass baritone con voce pulita, chiara, dizione perfetta, agilità più che buone

Sono daccordo. Oltre ad avere una tecnica impeccabile e ad un fine fraeggio, è anche un attore non comune.

Comunque ultimamente i grandi teatri lo stanno finalmente considerando. (Mi sembra però un baritono abbastanza leggero, più che un bass-baritone)

Of course I do. I was just saying it's funny seeing Corbelli playing Magnifico when he was the most famous Dandini of his day. I saw Corbelli's Magnifico at the Met (on the HD Broadcast) and thought it was great - better than his Dandini, actually.
