Guys, I'm really starting to get into RPG's, but I really never played the Pokemon series, so should I start playing them? The ones I'm interested in playing so far are Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, and Black/White. If only I could play the Red/Blue/Yellow and Gold/Silver (Then again G/S remade for DS, but I also want to check the originals.) If anyone can reply, thanks for the help. :)

@HombreHonest You should just play them all, they are all great in my opinion. I would suggest playing in chronological order, so you won't be overwhelmed by the number of pokemon when you start. Whether you want to play red Red/Blue/Yellow or FireRed/LeafGreen is up to you, but I would suggest playing both. Same goes to Gold/Silver :D

@HombreHonest you should definetaly start playing with Platinum.(Good for startersand great legendary Pokemon) Diamond and Pearl are not great things compared with Platinum..You dont have to worry about R/S/E.There will be a remake.If you still like them in gameboy style you must get Emerald(the greatest pokemon game in my opinion).If you like R/B/Y or G/S you must try HG/SS.Then a Black/White (awesome gameplay)
