They were still trying to pass this thru in my school books in 1986.They may have retracted it in journals but not in the media or school books thats for sure.

Science progresses through this form of falsification. Contrast this with the claim that a single mammoth yielded two disparate C14 dates. Then they are discovered to be frauds so they quietly remove them for the next generation of students and add the new fraud and then it's discovered to have been faked again so they add the new fraud and remove the old and it goes on and on...
