@54Richie I never knew she had a recording career. I'm 26 and I've followed her acting career since I first saw her play Evileene in The Wiz. I have her in "Don't Play Us Cheap" on DVD along with What's Hapening. I didn't buy the last season of WH because Mabel wasn't in it. I knew she could sing because of the musicals she starred in. I alsp checked out her history on differnt websites and none of them mentioned a recording career. Some history tellers they are! I would assume she didn't last
@MrMbell2 I love her, we all can relater to her role as Momma, I'm sure most people had a mom like that, with love and a whipping ready, but I never knew she made music in her career, I am so sad we no longer have Mabel with us, I would have loved to meet her, she, Dee and Roger together are my favorites, I dislike the show when she wasn't featured anymore.

@54Richie Wow I never knew she made an album or songs, I typed her name in just today and this and other surprises came up, so I see some one recently posted it, it should have been available as part of her legacy, see I seen her on some tv, in some movies, some broadway ,but I know her famous for momma on What's Happening, God bless her, she is rocking in heaven with God. Glory to god, Amen and amen Mabel King lives forever more because of Jesus. Glory hallelulah in the Highest.
