  • I just made these, but since we don't eat humus, i replaced that one with a cream cheese with bacon dip. Simply replacing the chives with small chunks of crispy cooked bacon and putting it in a blender so it evens out the bits.

  • This is awesome, I am going to a party soon and am planning on making hummus and tzatziki. I've been making hummus since I was a teen, but I never used lime and cilantro, I love that twist and can't wait to try it. I must say though, the germaphobe in me was cringing with each double dip. I though, maybe making shorter straws might prevent that :)

  • @fize34 Olive oil is low in saturated fats than normal cooking oil, so it's healthier :D

  • @y0b0t Yep. In the United States (and maybe other places) it's usually referred to as cilantro when it's fresh and coriander when it's dried, but it's the same herb.

  • A good tip for getting more juice out of lemons and limes is to put them in the microwave for a few seconds, its amazing how much more juice you get.

  • I've got one. Equal parts sour cream and mayo then dill weed until it's speckled. It's best if it sits in the fridge for 30 minutes before serving but it's not necessary.
