  • i wonder what john thomas aka mother is doing now.

  • "We must talk about it later" what an ASS!

  • this dude WROTE a couple of INTROS to the moody blues songs and wanted more money than justin and john-he lost the case.GOOD!

  • Thanks for sharing it!

  • Moraz single handedly resurected the dead moodies and they rewarded him by screwing him royally! The moodie dunderheads simplistic peasant pop music was elevated by Moraz to a level beyond 'their wildest dreams' ! If not for Moraz, moodie crap would be dead. Patrick, you were honest and worked hard at making these fools tons of money, what they did to you was criminal, they should be dispatched.

  • @aristotled1 your an ass!

moraz was with the moody blues for nine years(3 albums)

are you forgetting the early moodys without him?

moraz wanted more money,he did'nt get it and pip williams (producer for the M B's talked the rest of the band into casting him out!

so patty boy gets pissed and takes the band to court over the intro to "wildest dreams and the voice".....well patty boy did not win.GOOD!

this guy did not even sing BACK ROUND to any songs ,i'm glad he's gone!

  • where are you mother

  • Moody's had some great albums but since everyone wanted to put a songe he wrote on it, some of the great albums had some bad songs. Like Dr. Livingstone on "The Lost Chord". The talent of Moraz was not being used to its fullest extent due to the type of tunes they wrote. He did much better with Yes.

  • Moraz needs a nose job. JL is almost 66 yrs old, now. I'm jealous of that hair. He's really lookin his age as of today. Best "Falsetto" in music. He quit the MB's as they were gettin ready to start to persue an engineer degree. Clint Warwick quit the band after a few yrs & John finished up school in time to be asked to rejoin the band. GREAT MOVE!!!! Justin tried out with the "Animals." He wasn't their type. Thank you Eric Burdon!!!!! Amazing how things fall into place. What if they hadn't? WOW

  • Moraz was the Moodies secret weapon in the 80's.

I saw them live with him and they were incredible.

It took 2 players to replace him later on after he left.

They were lucky to have him.

  • Have to disagree with the Captain. I think Moraz is incredible.

  • MY GOD, THE SEXIEST MAN ALIVE. Listen to his sexy voice. And he grew older just as cute...and loved his silver hair now

  • @chocolatcats

    I couldn't agree more...sexy...and a sweetheart too!!

  • Moraz killed the Moody blues. His synth-cheese should never have been included in the band. John Lodge can still eat his lunch!

  • John Lodge=HOTNESS!

  • I missed this interview when it was on. What was I doing? Judging by the time, on my way to work but I would have recorded it if I'd known they were going to be on ................ even if I couldn't and can't stand Anne Diamond and Nick Owen.

  • Hey Michael, How are ya? I talked to Patrick 3 weeks ago . . . (every couple years he calls on my birthday, since Jean Ristori's is the same date he remembers mine to)

I've enjoyed your posts. See ya round youtube

  • Fascinating piece of history! This was back when a lengthy multi-segment interview was normal, when people had something to say, could actually express a thought, and people could listen for more than 10 seconds. Isn't life strange...

  • What a nice interview. John is so yummy. I'd love to run my fingers through it. lol.

  • I'd love to run my fingers through his hair...lol

  • John Lodge is SMOKIN' HOT!!!!!!!

  • bigkw,

Yes John was HOT....and still is!!! It's so nice to meet a Lodge lover.

  • I agree and I'm a guy and I'm not gay. I wish I had his hair.

  • on another angle, you have perhaps the world

    's greatest screem name.

    Tom

  • Thank you Justin, John, Patrick, for the 35 years of pleasure you have brought to my life...I love your music and have been a devotae since "DAYS OF FUTURE PAST" (1969)Your music has always been an inspiration to my life, and to millions you will always be more then "JUST A SINGER IN A ROCK'N ROLL BAND" (1970's)

Just purchased "BLUE JAYS" CD and listen to it again and again. Can never get enough MOODY BLUES....ALL MY LOVE,...a devoted fan...

  • The show and venue was great. We were like 10 rows from the right side of the stage. I picked those seats 'cause, like you, I've always been in love with Lodge !! I miss Ray though. His fill-in was a chick who played the flute and acoustic guitar. The screen behind the stage showed the Moodies when they were real young.

  • Norda Mullen. Sorry but not a patch on Ray.

  • I think Norda Mullen is brilliant--and so, by the way, does Justin.

  • yes, a long slow taste would be much better, I would have to agree. There is just no two ways about it we would have to share!!!!!!

  • I'd like a quick taste of that too!!!

  • Hi berrygirl, I see that you're a huge fan of John Lodge. Saw the Moody Blues this past Sat night in Saratoga Springs and our seats were in the orchestra section next to your man !!

  • I too love John Lodge whether he looks jaundiced or not.

  • oh ok! lol!

  • I never understood patricks accent. It's so thick it almost sounds arabic, but his name is completely Irish

  • He´s swiss with french language.

  • It's rare seeing Patrick Moraz in an interview.

  • noone looks good yellowish, thanks for posting, though
