hey man what do u think about esp ltd ec-50?

i just tested it n compared with epiphone les paul 100 it sound much heavy..ec-50 used esp pick up n i'm attracted to it bcoz it has 24 fret n the tone so heavy..even heavier than epi les paul standard/custom

hey man theres a big difference between les pauls & EC's. Les Paul pickups, i cant remember what they are called, but they've got a cleaner tone than that of an EC. tho esp pickups do have a Heavier tone, there wood & hardware cant really compare to that of a Les Paul custom or standard....tho the EC 1000 kicks all ass.

yeah there definatly good guitars the ltd, tho to match somthing of the Les Pauls quality, by ltd your looking at paying bout $1700. but there definatly good.

@Testarossastar Les Pauls come with their own set of Passive pickups, which can give it a clean and fuzzy tone can come active but those are just a few. All upper EC's have actives besides the lower end kinds. EC's can be a Gibson anyday, they feel better, lighter, and have better edgier sound. I have blackouts in mine, and they sound perfect for either Jazz or Metal, blues too but it depends. Actives are the best.

yeah true..tho me, I just prefer Les Pauls over EC's..mostly because there heavy bodied. I like a little weight in my guitars. & either way i have a Les paul Prophecy, with active EMG's so im happy.
