What's sad is that 9 months later, FE seems to be like a fraction of what this video shows us. There are next to no features that we see in this video actually implemented and working in the game. Instead we have buggy, unfinished pvp centric instances, lackluster mutations with redundant effects, and an ap system that punishes people for immersing themselves in one and ONLY one faction. I sincerely hope the devs get their stuff together.

FE is great, for some. Personally I think old time gamers will love this game. Occasional gamers will probably find it disappointing. This is NOT a commercial game like WoW, this is the kind of game that will have an experienced gamer spending the first few days of their play just learning the basics, and an amateur spamming the help channel with questions like "how do I shoot". You've been warned :)

Fallen Earth does use a lot from FO, but given the choices I say they did a good job.

Lol, I know about the bet. I managed to get a key, and got in.I also promptly discovered that my comp was not fast enough to handle the new graphics, and i couldn't get pas the tut area. But from what I saw, it now looks very good.

P.S. - It is kinda odd that my computer couldn't play it cuz I can play Oblivion on med/med-high graphics 0_0

Also, I REALLY hope for the durability on weapons in this game to last MUCH longer, if no durability counter at all, than it did in Fallout 3. Although I did think that it made the game much more realistic and post-apocolyptic feeling, I think it also took quite a bit of the fun out, considering how difficult it was to repair the items AND how costly it was for them to be even close to a degree of effectiveness.

Exactly. As they were saying, Mad Max played a big influence on this game. Fallout 1 (can't remember if 2) had the exact same leather armor that Mad Max always had on throughout the movies.

I noticed this when as I was watching a Mad Max movie, and was playing Fallout 1 at the same time.
