But I guess if they're doing the Ditko version, it'll probably make more sense later. In my opinion though, my fave iteration of the Lizard was, and still is, the one drawn by Todd McFarlane on his Spider-Man run, before he founded Image Comics.

Steve ditko was the artist who did the original amazing spiderman and since the lizard has been drawn many different ways eric is saying that in the photos he has the biggest resemblance to the way steve ditko drew him, hence the phrase "Ditko Lizard". hope this helped! :)

I think the lizard´s design its very interesting. His jaw remins me the Tattopoullo´s Godzilla design: pronunciated jaw, short nose. Of course has elements of crocodile, and other reptilians.You know...I believe it will works very fine, because today is very very dificult seen some bad cg in a blockbuster film. I´m sure Marvel and Paramout are preparing a amazing movie for us...cause they ´re rebooting the franchise .Not a chance for mistakes.

As for the trailer, it's good and sets up the tone nicely. Not convinced by the Mirror's Edge reference towards the end. I think Emma Stone will be the Gwen Stacy everyone will remember and Garfield nailed Parker when he was in the Social Douchebag. And he's a Brit like me :-)
