Yes, Committed is much better when it comes to Harmonies... But Nota is awesome for completely different reasons. If Committed sang all of these same songs, I would still take Nota's versions. Granted, if Nota sang Committed's songs, I would take Committed's versions. I don't compare them.

i like Nota a lot... but i like Committed better. My favorite group was On the Rocks. I know they sometimes had some pitch probs. But they were by far the most entertaining. Also, when they sang Kyrie the voices were amazing (so they shows they still have the talent to sing amazingly). I just loved OTR's mood. Again though, Nota is awesome and i give them props for winning the first season.

@blognewb I think everyone was pitchy. It's more noticeable the second time you listen to it. While I have to say, Nota was definitely more entertaining as far as adding the Latin groove to the songs, Committed had some really nice chord progressions. I'm glad they won.

@blognewb I think most of the people performing on this show are "pitchy." Staying on pitch is very difficult, especially if you aren't a trained singer. Most people sing incorrectly, which is why they don't always hit every single note.

Nota can incorporated all kinds of music fusion like salsa, merengue, plena, bomba, Brazilian samba, bachata into their song and still maintain true to a cappella. FYI, at the end Nota breaks into merengue and bachata, not mariachi. Also, I sense a bit of bigotry on the part of Sing-off since they decided to exclude Puerto Rico groups this season and have only USA acts. Nota was the best in season 1 and hope that Committed or SCS win because I believe they are the best in season 2.
